Make sure you see version 2 of this video. Some 900 million miles from the Sun,orbiting the planet Saturn, lies a mysterious world. Enceladus is enveloped in ice. Because nearly all of the sunlight that manages to hit its surface is reflected back into space, it's one of the brightest objects in the solar system. At its equator, the temperature is --315 degrees Fahrenheit. But, at the poles, the temperature is at least 15 degrees warmer... and as much as 65 degrees warmer in grooves that stretch across the south like tiger stripes. In 2005, the Cassini spacecraft spotted a complex plume of water vapor shooting out into space from several locations near the south pole. That may mean that Enceladus harbors a remarkable secret below its frigid surface: A liquid ocean... and maybe... some forms of life. This discovery was the culmination of a search that began over three decades ago. Back in 1979, the outer planets of the solar system lined up in such a way that mission planners were able to dispatch the Voyager spacecraft to fly past each of them. The two Voyagers sent back tens of thousands of images... of planetary realms more diverse than anyone had imagined. These long-distance marathon flyers - both now headed out towards interstellar space - made discoveries about the planetary chemistry that make these gas giants appear to us as gigantic works of abstract art. "Saturn 3" is a super cheesy post-"Alien" sci-fi flick that enjoyed about ten minutes' fame in the Eighties due to the fact that in one scene Farrah Fawcett's left nipple is fully exposed for approximately 1.271 seconds. The psychotic robot is pretty much fucking undeniably cool, though. Harvey Keitel's voice was overdubbed prior to release due to the producers' nervousness about his heavy "Brooklynese" accent. A minor camp classic. I will always love you, "Saturn 3"...(sniffle)...

Saturn On the 25 August 1981, the probe Voyager 2 approached the Saturn system. The probe is carrying different detectors : magnetometers, plasma detectors, low-energy charged particles detectors, cosmic rays detectors, radiowaves receivers. Recordings were made. Interractions of the solar wind with planet's magnetosphere, magnetosphere itself, electromagnetic fields, charged particles emissions, charged particle interactions of the planet, its moons, and the solar wind. All this electromagnetic phenomenons can be transformed into electric signals, which can in turn be amplified and used to excite the membrane of a loud speaker ; thus making audible to the human ear the rustling of the cosmos. All these sounds were recorded while Voyager 2 was passing near Saturn, and assembled without manipulation. Holst- Saturn, The Bringer of Old Age- The Planets Suite
English composer Gustav Holst composed The Planets between 1914 and 1916. The Birmingham premiere of the suite took place in 1918, fifteen years before Pluto was discovered. Though the Planets became by far the most popular work of Holst's and one of the most known pieces by an English-born composer, Holst did not consider the piece one of his finest. Partially because of this, he never wrote an eighth movement, though unexpectedly the IAU relegated Pluto from its status as planet proper in 2006.

Classic Game Room - SEGA SATURN 3D CONTROL PAD review
Classic Game Room reviews the SEGA SATURN 3D CONTROL PAD which comes with the Nights into Dreams package. The 3D Control Pad for Sega Saturn has both a d-pad and analog stick (as well as a switch to switch between the two). This precursor to the Sega Dreamcast controller has triggers and 6 buttons and feels nearly identical to the Dreamcast controller which was released a few years after. While all Saturn games (tested by CGR) work with the controller and d-pad, not all use the analog stick and triggers. Some games like Nights into Dreams do and work really well. The 3D Control Pad makes for a great fighting game controller with its rounded edges, excellent d pad and comfortable buttons as seen in this Sega Saturn 3D control pad controller video game review.

NASA - Huygens Probe Lands on Saturn's Moon, Titan
This movie was built with data collected during the 147-minute plunge through Titan's thick orange-brown atmosphere to a soft sandy riverbed by the European Space Agency's Huygens Descent Imager/Spectral Radiometer on Jan. 14, 2005. In 4 minutes and 40 seconds, the movie shows what the probe 'saw' within the few hours of the descent and the landing. On approach, Titan appeared as just a little disk in the sky among the stars, but after landing, the probe's camera resolved little grains of sand millions of times smaller than Titan. At first, the Huygens camera just saw fog over the distant surface. The fog started to clear only at about 60 kilometers (37 miles) altitude, making it possible to resolve surface features as large as 100 meters (328 feet). Only after landing could the probe's camera resolve the little grains of sand. The movie provides a glimpse of such a huge change of scale. The Huygens probe was delivered to Saturn's moon Titan by the Cassini spacecraft, which is managed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. NASA supplied two instruments on the probe, the descent imager/spectral radiometer and the gas chromatograph mass spectrometer.
