This is a FN SCAR (MK16 MOD 0) firing at 50 meters. It shows how flat the rifle shoots and the controllability of the weapon. The first part shows double taps, while the second clip shows a "full-auto" 30 mag dump (look how flat it shoots!!). Lastly, the third part shows the Mk16 shooting with the stock folded.

An introduction to the SCAR-H on Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. The Special Forces Combat Assault Rifle, or SCAR, is a modular rifle made by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FNH) for the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to satisfy the requirements of the SCAR competition. This family of rifles consist of two main types. The SCAR-L, for light, is chambered in the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge and the SCAR-H, for heavy, fires 7.62x51mm NATO. Both are available in Long Barrel and Close Quarters Combat variants. The FN SCAR system completed low rate initial production testing in June 2007. After some delays, the first rifles began being issued to operational units in April 2009, and a battalion of the US 75th Ranger Regiment was the first large unit deployed into combat with 600 of the rifles in 2009.

I failed to realize how much side to side recoil the SCAR has at .5 so a grip is a MUST on this weapon. So don't listen to me saying to leave it off in this commentary. This is a review and strategy commentary of the SCAR weapon for BF3. This weapon is the most powerful Engineer class weapon and one of the overall most powerfull in the game. Far too few people use this weapon for the wrong reasons.

(so far) ;-) The mag takes 12 shots, it's very powerful, it shoots very good and very accurate! It has a folding and sliding stock. (just like the real SCAR) It may be 64, 87 or 97 centimeters long and has two flip-up sigths. It took me 2 days to build and has an awesome mechanism inside... Enjoy and subscribe! The excellent iron sights and great recoil make it my ideal weapon to use with silencer and be stealthy. The one major downside to this gun is that it is a very low damage assault rifle (challenged only by the MW3 FAD). In this review I cover the best way to use this firearm in a stealth role.
