Al Jazeera's interview with FIFA president Sepp Blatter caused a storm when the most powerful man in football suggested that there was no racism problem among players - and that incidents on the pitch could be dealt with by "shaking hands". It came as the English FA announced it was charging Liverpool's Luis Suarez over allegations that he made racist comments to Manchester United's Patrice Evra. England captain John Terry is being investigated by police for alleged racist comments made to QPR's Anton Ferdinand during a Chelsea match last month.
