Decided to explore by cycling to the natural forested area of Punggol/Serangoon area and try my luck fishing there in hopes of hooking up catfish. This video was recorded to provide a brief account of my day for my friends who are unfamiliar with the area. The feeling of being committed as a Pro-Singapore citizen: We, the Citizen of Singapore, Pledge ourself as One United People, Regardless of Race, Language or Religion, To build a Democratic Society, Based on Justice and Equality, So as to Achieve Happiness, Prosperity and Progress, For our Nation!

One of the fascinating things about Singapore is that there is so much happening in this island and the other that nobody will tell you anything about it. So you normally don't find out or you find out after things have happened, typical laid back Singapore : The population is culturally, religiously and ethnically (...lets use this expression until the word spreads that scientifically and biologically race does'nt exist among the human species...) diversified like no other city in the world. At last count there were over 200 different religious followings, each happily doing their thing all year round in the city, without being bothered. They don't advertise much either. Here is one of the bigger events, declared to a public holiday, Thaipussam, an annual Tamil Indian ceremony of penance.
