This is my 1st trip out on the new Sevylor Fish Hunter 360. I made wood bench seats & painted on the registration numbers. It is rated for 6 people, but with gear, etc, it will realistically hold maybe 3. I have a Minn Kota Endura 30 with an EverStart Marine deep cycle battery with 720 cranking amps. I intend to do a few more things to this boat (more rod holders, cup holders, wood floor, etc)

Just going back to dock. I love this boat and motor. UPDATE: I NO LONGER HAVE THE SEVYLOR, HAD SMALL HOLE SOMEWHERE SO I THREW IT AWAY, COULDN'T FIND PATCH. Previously map recced backwater location. Paddled east for mile and half after put in then took off shoot backwater trib. Paddled meandered for another mile on fast flowing backwater, moored up on bank for 15 mins. Set off before dark and paddled for another 2 miles ducking low tree bows and branches in some places no room to manouvre paddle so had to grip branch steer in places. Eventually got back onto Thames and paddled in near dark in circuit further 3 miles back to put in point.

Eventually made a meal of savoury rice and chicken heated on the Swedish army Trangia cooker, in the warm sunlight before it set to the west on an early autumn eve.

Took the Sevylor 8' Inflatable boat out to Long Run Lake today - we used the Sevylor SMB18 Trolling Motor w. 12v battery - we did not use the motor mount as this boat can accommodate this motor without it - it really handled very well and actually went quite a bit faster than we thought it would. We ran it intermittently for about 3 hours and really, it had much more pickup than we anticipated - even with 2 people in the boat (total boat capacity is 600 lbs.).

kayaking the river taw, Devon. We got in at a small woods about 5 miles past Kingford on the a377 and paddled back to rock park in barnstaple. The river was flowing nicely but due to the fact i don't have a waterproof case on my flick camcorder i could not take shots of the rapids. a nice day out on an easy river, great for novice kayaking and people just wanting a good long scenic trip away from it all. oh the fly fishermen don't like us much but hey ho!

Testing Rhino VX 28 Trolling motor on Sevylor Colorado kayak at sea. Capstone Ilfracombe to Hele Bay. Taken with Vivitar DVR 850 W - waterproof camera. Matt in a percepton kayak. Result - mounted as it is the motor pushes the Sevylor at about 1 -2 knots faster than paddling. Will be trying a rear mount next time to see if the is more thrust as the kayak weaves a bit. Will try a skeg too.
