Another attempt to re-upload a video which was blocked by the YouTube / Warner Music Group dispute a few years ago. After many attempts to try and get it back online, I hope that this will finally remain available to be viewed. Again taken form the fantastic Clannad album "Legend" written to accompany the show. I really enjoyed making this video as I used woodland footage taken on my camcorder and blended it with footage from the show and I was happy with the effect. My first new RoS video for 2years!How time flies! This time set to the haunting Clannad track, Strange Land from the Legend album. It's taken a while to get back into video editing and go through all the footage of the Michael Praed episodes (sometimes frame by frame !). Strange Land is another atmospheric track, with ominous drum beats (like a heartbeat), followed by the dramatic and sudden introduction - usually punctuating a dramatic scene or change of scene. It was a great marriage of music and images that made RoS have such a mystical atmosphere. I wanted Strange Land to show that Robin lived in strange times. There wasn't just the Sheriff & Gisburne to contend with, but also a host of other "strange" characters. Such as Templar knights, the Hounds of Lucifer (led by Morgwyn of Ravenscar), Baron De Belleme, King's - Richard and John to mention and showcase a few. A battle of good against eveil or "light & darkness" I hope this extended version of Strange Land is in keeping with the feel of the show and RoS fans enjoy it. Other videos are to follow. Robin of Sherwood fanvid.Set to the haunting music by Clannad. I used my own footage of woodland and merged it with Robin clips and dialogue. For me, Now Is Here is a love song about Robin & Marion.It also has a sadness about it and it was used to great effect, especially when Robin of Loxley sacrifices himself to save the Marion & the group. I wanted to try and show the love and friendship between Robin and the group but also hint that the video is about saying "Goodbye", a bit like the flaming arrow tributes used in the show. I have no more completed Robin videos to upload (this one was finished in 2005,just before I became a Dad!)Will get back to working on the others one day soon. Another clip I've managed to archive from old vhs video. This time it's Michael Praed on the ITV Saturday morning kid's tv show called "What's Up Doc?". It was recorded in 1995 when Michael was playing Marty James in the BBC show called "Crown Prosecutor". That show ran for 10 half hour episodes and the producer was Esta Charkham - a link to Robin - she was the casting director on Robin of Sherwood. In the phone in it's interesting that he is asked if he would consider doing any more Robin's. He say's that he and the cast would love to - but alas, it never came to anything. What a shame :( I do remember at the time of watching the interview, that it was really exciting to hear that the show could be brought back somehow - it was just what I and many Robin fans wanted to hear! Wonder what it would've been like..........? Hope that Robin fans enjoy this clip. NothingsForgotten.

The beginning of the tune suggests that a battle is coming and there is a feeling of apprehension looming. Then the tune kicks in with a great rhythm as the fight begins! So well written by Clannad and always worked so well in the show. Completed this video in 2004 and tried to time the images to the music. Hope it doesn't go out of sync when it's uploaded.
