Catalog your data with CDFinder CDFinder www.cdfinder.de is a Digital Asset Manager for Macintosh and Windows http The software catalogs any type of data (photos, movies, songs, documents), on any device (hard disk, CD, DVD, Blu-ray, USB sticks, server volumes, iPods, etc.) and offers powerful Find features to quickly locate your data. The extensive support of metadata (Adobe XMP, EXIF, IPTC, MP3, and more) also increases the abilities to locate our files anywhere. - For CDFinder to work its magic finding your hidden digital treasures, it first needs to catalog your data once. You can simply click the "Catalog Disk" button to catalog an entire disk. Just select it from the list of mounted volumes, done. Or you can simply drag a disk from the Finder into the left side of the CDFinder window. That will also start cataloging it. Of course, CDFinder cannot just catalog entire disks, that would be lame. You can also just catalog important folders. Again either drag them from the Finder into the left part of the CDFinder window, or use the "Catalog Folder" menu command. Hint: The menus of CDFinder hold a lot of interesting functions, make sure you have a look at them... To help you find your data better, CDFinder not simply reads the names of your files and folders when cataloging, but it can also read a huge amount of helpful additional data as well, such as photo thumbnails, or the MP3 tags of song files. You control what CDFinder catalogs with the Preferences. Here, in the <b>...</b>

www.slrlounge.com We are finally moving to the good stuff. But, before we get started into creating our own Lightroom 3 working catalog, I want to you guys to have a good understanding of the Lightroom catalog system. The Lightroom catalog is simply a container, or even better, a database of information that applies to the images contained within. What you are actually seeing in the Lightroom catalog are not the images themselves, but rather preview renderings of those images with whatever develop settings you have applied. Deleting a Lightroom catalog does not mean that you are deleting the images, but rather just the catalog information on ratings, keywords, develop settings, etc. Also, moving a Lightroom catalog file doesn't move the images along with it. For this reason, it is important to have a good organizational system for your Lightroom catalogs and the images therein. From here on out in this tutorial series, we want you all to work along with us. So, you can either load up your own working files, or you can download the exact working files that we will be using. In the next video, we will start by creating our catalog, then importing and working on our images. Note: These images have been provided to the SLR Lounge users curteousy of Lin and Jirsa Photography for educational purposes only. They may not be used in any other manner outside of these SLR Lounge learning videos without the express written consent of Lin and Jirsa Photography. Thank you.

Fiat Street Evo it's the most surprising catalogue a car has ever seen. It's an app (for iPhone and Android) that recognizes traffic signs and transforms them into features of the new Punto Evo. The app recognizes traffic signs as if they were QR codes and it associates each sign with a feature directly related to that sign. For example; a STOP sign will tell the user all about the new breaking system, a CURVE ahead sign will tell the user that the car has an intelligent lighting system that guides you in curves. And the list goes on with every sign and feature of the car. But it's no fun just reading a catalogue. That's why Street Evo was actually a game. To get people to use the app, we hid an actual Punto Evo and hundreds of prizes within traffic signs. The first ones to come across gifts got to keep them. Simple! The Crab Nebula The Crab Nebula, also known as Messier 1, was the very first of 110 objects to be catalogued by the French astronomer Charles Messier. He mistook this nebula for a comet upon first observation, and thus began the famous Messier catalogue. This colorful nebula is quite bright, and fairly easy to spot using a moderately powerful telescope. It is an interesting deep sky object because of its unique history. Situated within the constellation Taurus, The Crab Nebula is actually the result of a giant supernova or exploding star that we believe was witnessed and recorded by Chinese and Arab astronomers on July 4, 1054 AD. The explosion was so bright, reports indicate that it could be seen for weeks in the daylight hours. Today, scientists tell us that the nebula is expanding at a rate of almost 1000 miles per second. The nebula was first discovered by the English doctor and astronomer John Bevis in 1731 and was placed in the Messier catalog in 1758. The origin of its name comes from The Earl of Rosse who observed, and made a drawing of the nebula which looked like a crab. The central star in M1 is a good example of a pulsar, which emits a powerful pulse of radiation once every 33 milliseconds. The variety of stars that we can see and study is simply amazing. First Corinthians 15:41 tells us that: "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory." Global Catalog Servers contain a partial replica for every object in Active Directory. A Global Catalog Server is used to find objects in any domain in the forest. Any Domain Controller can be made into a Global Catalog Server. This video looks at how to remove or make a Domain Controller into a Global Catalog Server and also the reasons why and where you should put Global Catalog Servers. Global Catalog Servers are used to find objects in any domain in the forest but it should be remembered that this does not give the user access to that object. Unless the user has the correct permissions they will not be able to access resources in other domains. Global Catalog Servers also contain information about groups that span across domains and services that work at the forest level. How to change a Domain Controller to a Global Catalog Server 04:18 Using the admin tool Active Directory Users and Computers to navigate to the computer account for your Domain Controller. By default this will be located in the Domain Controllers OU. Open the properties for the Domain Controller and select the button NTDS settings. Deselect or select the tickbox Global Catalog. Windows will do the rest. Reasons to deploy Global Catalog Servers Reason 1 Domain Controllers generate a security token for a user when they first login. InDesign's object styles are a fantastic way to quickly apply a selection of formatting options to objects - for example, you might want to give all product pictures in your catalogue a blue border and a drop shadow. Doing this manually can be very tedious and error-prone - so why not create an Object Style with the required settings? Then you can simply click on the object, click on the object style, and the object is perfectly styled exactly the way you want it. In this video I show you how to use Object Styles, and demonstrate a script that applies styles to lots of text or picture boxes (frames) in one go.

www.slrlounge.com As we discussed, the Lightroom Catalog is simply a database where information on your images is stored. So, whenever Lightroom is unable to find the original images that were being used in the catalog, the error message, "The file named "filename" is offline or missing." Don't fret though, this simply means that most likely the images are no longer in the last place that Lightroom knew about. So, Lightroom simply needs to be pointed back to where the images are residing on your hard drive. These issues most often occur when you are transferring catalogs from one location to another, renaming folders where images are stored, or performing other file management functions in the Operating System rather than in Lightroom. In this video, we want to get you comfortable with the relationship that Lightroom has with the OS file management system, as well as teach you how to fix offline or missing images in Lightroom when they occur. Enjoy!

If there is something meant for us to see -- let's find it! NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA. (BlackVault) -- April 25h, 2012 -- For centuries, the human race has asked itself the greatest question, "Are we alone?" As theoreticians, prophets, researchers, investigators, and curious minds offer up thought-provoking answers to that question -- there is only one way to find out. We need to look for ourselves! Join TheBlackVault.com's John Greenewald, Jr., and Trevor Lowder, hosts of "Reality, Checked," as they launch a 72-hour, nation-wide, project to get everyone to simply... look up. Nearly everyone walking on this planet is armed with videos phones and cameras, so the hosts propose that as most of us likely will have an outside BBQ with our families honoring our nation's heroes that weekend, that we should also take a moment to peer up into the sky -- looking to find evidence that may prove we are not alone. With a nation-wide alliance of curious sky watchers, armed with an army of cameras, certainly someone, somewhere, could find something. All too often we look forward or down; but never up where the answers may lie. They propose we change that. And if you do happen to catch a shred of evidence <b>...</b>

Today is my daughter's 7th Birthday!!!!!!! She is my youngest of three children. After Cara was born on November 6, 2004, one of the first dreams that my wife and I had for our family was to go to Disneyland. My wife and I decided that when Cara was 6 years old, we would do our best to make that dream come true. In April 2011, my family was Blessed with the opportunity to visit Disneyland for the very first time. Sorry for the cliché, but we truly had a Magical Experience. The entire time I was in Disneyland with my family, I kept wishing that our vacation would never end. I didn't want time to pass. I wanted to forever watch the pure joy on the faces of my wife and my three children. Instead of taking in everything around me at Disneyland, I found myself completely absorbed in enjoying my family and how they took in everything around THEM at Disneyland. My heart was filled with Everlasting Happiness that can never be expressed with mere words. In fact, my silence, as I watched my family absorb every moment taken through the Magical Kingdom is the ONLY way to express my appreciation for my experience with my family in Disneyland. This (incredibly too short) video is my tribute for that priceless period of time. I will cling to those memories with all of my being. I want to write more, but I simply can't find the words. I'd just keep going on and on ... From Wikipedia: "When You Wish upon a Star" is a song written by Leigh Harline and Ned Washington for Walt Disney's 1940 <b>...</b>

TROWA have really done it with this remix of We Run The Night. Possibly one of the best songs in TROWA's catalogue it is simply a privilege to even be listening to this song at any given time. TROWA hit the scene hard like an atomic bomb in early 2011 and ever since then have been producing unique tracks and tickling our dubbuds. The duo comprising of Metaphase and Philthy B are an armageddon of brute power which have had tracks on PLAY ME RECORDS as well as an EP on PLAY ME TOO consisting of some innovative dubstep and moombahton. They have collaborated with artists like The Juggernaut and Whiskey Pete and have remixed tracks by the likes of Calvertron and Run DMT. The amazing vocals of the track really bring the song into an atmosphere of invincibility as the track progresses like a dubstep windchime spiralling into a drop of uncontrollable proportions. Artist: Juventa Title: Dreamers Diary Version: Original Mix Release Date: 27th of March 2010 Genre: Electronic Label: Crystal Clouds Recordings Country: The Netherlands Catalogue Number: CCR034/27032010 After having done several beautiful remixes, we see the return of young talented Dutch producer Juventa, this time with his first own release on CCR. His style that holds the middle between progressive and uplifting trance appeals very much to us. This track again holds the typical short voice samples that he loves to use in his arrangements. A very nicely produced main melody is revealed during the emotional breakdown to carry you further through the clouds with the carefully chosen climax. Simply let yourself be taken by surprise. When he heard this beauty for the first time, label manager Arjan immediately wanted to put his "Science Deal" signature all over the original arrangement. He adds even more string chords and emotions to the beautiful melody and builds up another type of climax after the epic break. Typical full on lead synth melodies accompanied by his unmistakable driving kick and bass line. Also including the original voice samples in his emotional and uplifting look on things. The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C minor, K. 457, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was composed and completed in 1784, with the official date of completion recorded as October 14, 1784 in Mozart's private catalogue of works. It was published in December of 1785 together with the Fantasy in C minor, K. 475, as Opus 11 by the publishing firm Artaria, Mozart's main Viennese publisher. The title page bore a dedication to Thérèse von Trattner, who was one of Mozart's pupils in Vienna. Her husband was an important publisher as well as Mozart's landlord at the time. Eventually, the Trattners would become godparents to four of Mozart's children. The sonata was composed during the approximately 10-year period of Mozart's life as a freelance artist in Vienna after he removed himself from the patronage of the Archbishop of Salzburg in 1781. It is one of the earliest of only six sonatas composed during the Vienna years, and was probably written either as a teaching tool or for personal use. Sonatas during this time were generally written for the domestic sphere - as opposed to a symphony or concerto, they were designed to convey ideas in a small, intimate setting. A typical performance takes about 18 minutes. The work has three movements: I. Molto allegro II. Adagio III. Allegro assai The first movement is written in sonata form. It begins with a fiery Mannheim rocket figure, which appears twice in the first subject, or theme, which makes up m.1 - m. 19. The second subject, which is written in E <b>...</b>

LeBron James scored 28 points, Dwyane Wade added 21, and they led a furious rally in the final minutes as the Heat eliminated Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls 83-80 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday night. LeBron and Wade were simply spectacular down the stretch, each scoring eight during a game-ending 18-3 run as the Heat wiped out a 12-point deficit to win the series. Now, they are headed back to the NBA finals for the first time since 2006, and in a fitting twist, they'll be facing the Mavericks. Back then, with Wade leading the way, Miami beat Dallas to capture the championship.
