The marriage was arranged by his family and the Muhurtham took place at Codissia Trade Fair Complex, which is Asia's largest Trade fair complex located in Manchester of South India The Textile City "Coimbatore", Tamilnadu - India. Karthi Sivakumar's elder brother Versatile Actor Surya (Saravanan) Sivakumar married well known Actress Jothika (Jo) in 2006 and the star couple gave birth to Diya. All roads led to CODISSIA Trade Complex in Coimbatore for the wedding of actor Karthi with Ranjini. Despite the early muhurtham, the hall remained jam-packed with family and friends from the film fraternity. The grand wedding of K'town got off to a chanting of traditional texts that welcomed the guests. The bride Ranjini and groom Karthi arrived at the CODISSIA Trade complex along with their family members. The venue was turned into a palatial theme in oval shape by art director D Chandirrasekar. "I have chosen the Greek style to complete the olive green-dull gold look inspired by the wedding card," says the art director.
