Pirate Seas Adventure Pack comes with a well detailed pirate ship that the player sits on to the Portal of Power which activates a new level with Skylanders Spyro's Adventure. A pirate ship suddenly appears at the docks and player replaces pirate ship with a Skylander figure and plays the level! Pirate Seas level is somewhat disappointing compared to the rest of the game and you'll find yourself playing a remake of the Memory card game half the time. Part 62 of our Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure Playthrough picks up with Part 4 of Chapter 25: Darklight Crypt where we are ready to battle Occulous. Naturally, before doing so I had to move back and try to see if we now had access to the platform to the left with Stump Smash (Level 5)...we did not. My plan was to go thru, open the blocks, and switch to Ghost World where I figured that block to the right would be open. So we painstakingly made our way back to where we started and jumped down to take on the giant eyeball. I switched to Ghost Roaster (Level 9) and went to battle. Naturally before battling I had to explore the setting and check for the hat...no dice. I'm not quite sure what the point of those platforms really is, but oh well, I guess they just look good aesthetically. I eventually found Gallant who told us to shoot the cannons at him in the Real World. In order to get to the Real World you have to head to the actuator (giant wand sticking up out of the ground, and shake the Wiimote). Make your way to the cannons and blast away. While moving about be on the lookout for Stump Demons. While doing so we hit Level 10 with Ghost Roaster! All those T-bone levels really helped build him up...Continue on meandering through the Stump Demons and finding the functional cannons to shoot his eye. This battle was actually pretty easy. If I wasn't trying to get pizza from the Stump Demons it would have gone faster, lol. Gallant is excited, but don't take him up on the pie <b>...</b>

I have been looking forward to this level and Slam Bam since I picked the game up back in October. Folks first started finding Wave 3 (Empire of Ice, Cynder, Double Trouble) back around mid-January. Took me a little while longer to land, thanks in part to local folks buying up stock and selling on ebay...which is something a lot of you probably run into with smaller markets as well...I feel for you. Empire of Ice is the 3rd Adventure Pack released, but is actually the "first" in terms of play (Chapter 23). From what I have heard it is a pretty "cool" level, sorry couldn't help it, lol. The real perk here is of course Slam Bam. In addition to the level and Slam Bam, you get two magic items (Anvil Rain and Sky-Iron Shield), as well as cards, stickers, and web codes for Spyro's Universe. You can land it for $19.99 if you shop around (GameStop, Walmart, Target, best buy, etc)...it will be $24.99 at Toys'R'Us...but they usually have the best in-store stock. For those that don't like extra commentary in unboxing videos, just read the blog...My goal in an unboxing video is to convey as much info as possible to those watching. The more info included in an unboxing the less likely people are to ask questions, and that means it helps folks out and saves time! Skylanders review part 21. Classic Game Room reviews the SKYLANDERS DINO-RANG figure for use in Skylanders Spyro's Adventure. Dino-Rang gameplay is shown on PlayStation 3 PS3 and Nintendo 3DS in this review. Dino-Rang is an Earth element Skylander who has some boomerang attacks and (eventually) a dual-fist, below ground fist attack which is great for destroying tough enemies at close range. CGR Dino-Rang video review shows DinoRang gameplay on PS3 which demonstrates Dino Rang game play as he crushes enemies through a variety of levels in Skylanders videogame.

Blogged: 1ofwiisdom.blogspot.com I know the lighting is bad...there is a reason for that. Try filming a 3' framed poster under lights and let me know how that goes for you. Take my word for it, the lesser lighting made this far more viewable than if I had it under the lights. That aside, you get a good look at the poster (especially if you go to the blog) and it looks great when framed! The video and picture really don't do it justice. If you are a Skylander fan this is definitely something you want to have hanging on your wall. And best of all the poster is easily attainable and affordable! Sure beats being run ragged looking for the latest releases doesn't it? I also threw in bonus content on the Skylander Sylus offerings. I got the poster at Walmart for $4.99. Note it is a 22 3/4" x 34" poster, not a 24"x36" poster. Make sure you buy the correct sized frame. I got mine at Target for $8.99 and it fits great...the dimensions for the frame were 22 3/4" x 34." The Skylander Stylus run $8.99-$12.99, with the high price coming to your courtesy of Toys'R'Us (who'd have guessed?!). Chop Chop looked the best in my opinion. Again, I know the lighting is bad and it was done that way for a reason...good lighting would have made this video almost impossible to watch! My advice is hit up your local stores and pick up the poster...you will really like having it hanging on your wall.

Cynder is currently still bringing $50 or more on ebay...She is not worth the extra $40. I have still never seen Cynder at a local store. In fact, as of last week when I checked in with a fellow Portal Master at GameStop, he had only known of 1 coming in to the store. Cynder is by far the most difficult of the Wave 3 release to track down at this point. As always, I go over the purchase details etc to help people out and go into the story behind the character etc to make the video more enjoyable and comprehensive. The more questions you can answer in the video, the better off everyone is. If you just want a 60 second video of someone cutting into the packaging without commentary, I'm sure you can find that elsewhere. An unboxing and quick look at the Skylanders: Spryo's Adventure Starter Kit for the Nintendo 3DS. This retails for $79.99, but I got it at GameStop on sale for $59.99. It is also available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii. The starter kit includes the game itself, portal of power, 3 individual Skylander character figures, batteries, usb cable, trading cards, stickers, online codes, and poster.

If you don't like that style, I'm sure there are unboxings better suited for your taste. I like to go into detail to help people out and many prefer this method. Here are a few basics for you: Dragon's Peak was released March 25th, 2012 in the US and is exclusive to Toys'R'Us for 30 Days. The retail price at Toys'R'Us is $24.99. I got my Dragon's Peak from TRU's website. Dragon's Peak is Chapter 26 and is the last of the Adventure Packs to be released. Sunburn is the last of the Fire Element Skylanders to be released. The video details much more including Sunburn's Story and Stats. Please do not pay scalpers...be patient and you will land this for retail or catch it on sale. I will record Sunburn's Heroic Challenge and upload it ASAP. I will follow that with a blind playthrough of Dragon's Peak I currently do not have Lightning Rod or Zook, although I did order them online from TRU and they should ship this week. I had planned to wait it out to see if I could land another and then unbox one, but with so many questions, and the odds of finding another LTH so high, I figured I'd just do a comparison, spend a little extra time on the console stats, and call it good. Legendary Trigger Happy is a Toys'R'Us exclusive...and Activision is holding true to this one, just like the Legendary Triple Pack. You can find LTH for $9.99 at your local TRU and sometimes you might get lucky and find him on TRU.com, but I wouldn't bank on it. Your other option is to buy from a scalper, I don't advise it, but if you feel like you've got to have him try to find the best deal possible. As with L-Spyro, L-Chop Chop, and L-Bash, L-Trigger Happy will appear "blue and gold" in the game, just like you see him in the packaging. He also comes with a padded stat of +12 Armor (TH=30/60 vs LTH=42/72). Trigger Happy is a great all around character and in my opinion very worthy of earning "Legendary" status, plus if you are a 3DS Owner, you now have a nice "in" to adding TH to your arsenal.
