
Charles Roger Pomfret Hodgson, born 21 March 1950, in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England is a British vocalist and musician, and he was one of the founding members of the progressive rock group Supertramp. He is recognised for his high-pitched singing voice, which became a trademark for Supertramp, and often writes about somewhat spiritual and philosophical topics. He's been given the nickname of Mr. Supertramp by fans. In the Eye of the Storm is the 1st solo album by former Supertramp member Roger Hodgson. The album's biggest hit was the eight-minute-plus "Had a Dream (Sleeping with the Enemy)", a shorter single version of which neared the pop top 40 (#48), was a big hit at rock radio (reaching #5 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and was on constant rotation on MTV.
