Part 1: Exposing the abortion industry: Jill shares her story of how she was a whistleblower on the cruel practice of induced labour abortions or 'live birth abortions' in Christ Hospital, Illinois, where she worked as a nurse. Her story was instrumental in the passing of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act in the US, which President Obama voted against 3 times. Many babies lives have been saved as a result. Her testimony is very moving and she tells how she cradled the aborted baby in her arms till it died. She is speaking during the Viva La Vida Conference held in Griffith College, Dublin, November 2010. Viva La Vida is an Irish initiative which seeks to promote the culture of life amongst young people, to activate and educate them against abortion and to engage in projects that help mothers and babies. Jim Stanek demo's Demon toms: Dixon Drums
Jim Stanek, product manager for Dixon Drums, demonstrates the Demon series toms with a little solo work showing off the warmth of the mahogany wood and the high cut of the birch. To best hear this audio review we suggest you watch in the HD 1080p setting. These toms are part of the Demon series with 7x10, 8x12 and 14x16 toms. The drums feature 1.6 mm hoops top and bottom along with the mini suspension system and a pointed bumper allowing for support without inhibiting the resonance of the shells. The Demon series has been a very popluar set for both touring musicians and for the studio. The videos were all shot at Inner Space Sound Labs with audio engineer Scott Amore. MEET NIKKI STANEK Nikki Stanek has been teaching hip hop for 8 years. She started dancing at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with Dance2XS UIUC. She was Director of Dance2XS UIUC in 2005. After graduating she continued dancing with their Chicago branch, Dance2XS Chicago, where she is currently the Artistic Director. Aside from teaching Dance2XS Chicago, she has danced and taught around the world. In November 2008, she went to Ukraine as a guest choreographer on the hit TV show, "So You Think You Can Dance." She has also taught in Algarve, Portugal, and Kiev, Ukraine, at Nike Conventions. Nikki is also the Founder/Director of a girls' crew called, "The Misses." This is a group of women that is taking the dance community by storm. Each "Miss" holds an identity true to her personality and characteristics. Nikki, who is known as "Miss Madam", hopes that The Misses can show the true power of females through dance. It has been a big dream of hers to come to Los Angeles and teach Boogiezone and wants to thank all who have helped her get to where she is today!

so here is one of my last post-class rehearsals for my uspdf optional. this sesh resulted in very helpful notes that helped me get it performance-ready. thank you kyra, marlo, kelly, gigi, steven, amy, tracee, lauren, rica, ariel + everyone who watched all bumpy works in progress. Filmed at Body & Pole--holla!!! Although the 3+ months of preparation, training, choreographing and freaking out were often overwhelming and painful i LOVED this routine and am so appreciative for the opportunity to share the stage with the other amazing girls and share my love of pole dance with the audience.
