This is the opening of Operation Cardinal Spear in the game Starsiege. Humanity stands on the brink of extinction. A desperate Trojan Horse gambit is made; using a commandeered Cybrid mothership, mankind's greatest heroes would strike at the heart of darkness, itself... The video opens with the cutscene of the Cybrids surrounding the human dropship, their ploy foiled. The humans launch in their drop pods, scattering all over the surface of Pluto. They have to make their way to one of their comrades: Grand Master Caanon Weathers, aka Icehawk, is stuck in his drop pod... Starsiege veterans may recognize the "skin" of my Apocalypse, most visibly seen at the end of the opening cutscene. A blue paint scheme wreathed in stylish flames of gold and orange, with the symbol of a longsword etched into the side of each shoulder, and the short form of my callsign emblazoned in metre-high golden letters on the front and sides of the side torsoes. Kudos to Steel Fire of the War Stories Writers' Guild for creating it for me, all those years ago. This video was put together for the veterans of the Earthsiege/Starsiege series. It focuses on the Apocalypse-class HERCULAN, which was first conceived during the Earthsiege Expansion Pack, released in 1995 (and not in Earthsiege 2, as many newer players believed.). Having said that, many players may never have touched the Expansion Pack, seeing as how the original Earthsiege game would have been near-impossible for most conventional players to complete at any decent difficulty level. The Apoc, as its fans dubbed it, was among the most popular human HERCs in the entire Earthsiege/Starsiege series, a heavy attack HERC which had a perfect blend of speed, maneuverability, durability and firepower. And in the hands of an expert, it was also one of the deadliest HERCs on the battlefield. I re-installed the Earthsiege Expansion Pack program, and used old snapshots and video recordings to construct this video. The video begins with the introduction of the Earthsiege Expansion Pack, followed by a few shots of the antiquated Colossus-class assault HERC, which as veterans of Earthsiege 1 know, was outclassed by the newer Cybrid designs. In truth, even the older Cybrid Hyperion assault HERC was more powerful than the Colossus. Enter the Apocalypse, the latest Human design incorporating Cybrid advances. A series of slides show the hubbub as the Apocalypse factory comes under attack in Mission 4, and the new HERC gradually takes shape in the construction bay. I have also reconstructed <b>...</b>

This is the final mission of the Cybrid campaign, where, as a ruthless killing machine you must face down the last great defender of humanity. Harabec, grief stricken from the loss of his brother, comes out to face the Cybrid's mightiest champion. Harabec chooses to pilot the humans' secret weapon: the most powerful tank ever built. The music is is an excerpt of "Breakable," a very moving piece by Justin R. Durban (Edgen Animations, www.edgen.com). It seemed to fit the tragic nature of this battle.

The first mission of the Human campaign is "Vulture Duty," where you, as a rebel rookie, destroy a downed arms transport and the two guard HERCs protecting it. The guards are without shields and carry very weak weapons. However, if you wait around for a few minutes, the rescue party arrives, along with their escorts. The escorts have the same weight as you, outnumber you, and out-gun you. It's a tough fight for the limited technology available on the first mission. The great music is by Ben Drake ( www.jamendo.com ) and is used under the Creative Commons license.

I found a free copy of the original Tribes. So i figured id share it with you guys in case anyone was interested. O ya i know the audio is off i didn't feel like doing it again. I introduce you a very old game called, Star Siege Tribes. In this game, there was a mod called ModX, a mod where you build your stuff in here. And here are the first 5 buildings I'm about to show you. Music: Combat Arms theme loop(NOT MINE!) I do not own it, but I have it on my computer since downloaded the game, which I found the song in the files. So I thought it might sound nice for the game. Hehe.
