For the first time Kim is directing a work of her own, collaborating with Stewart-Ahn for his technical knowledge. The pair met while working as crew on a Michel Gondry project. For Dan-ah the video was a chance to experiment with animation, which was done in camera without the aid of computers or greenscreens. Dan-ah's illustrative works can be seen at www.dkim-art.com. In the past year she has shown at Thinkspace in LA and Giant Robot in NYC. Aaron Stewart-Ahn last conceived of and traveled the world for Death Cab for Cutie's I Will Possess Your Heart clip, which won an MTV video music award and a prestigious award from the Camerimage film festival in Poland. Dan-ah was a crew member on the two week journey around the globe, which led to their desire to collaborate further.

The Decemberists are a rock band from Portland, Oregon, United States, fronted by singer Colin Meloy.
