The goalies equipment/athleticism/coaching has changed by leaps and bounds. Every NHL team has a goalie coach. Where is the goal scoring coach? Changing the Angle of the Puck as you Shoot This video shows an effective way to change the angle on the goalie in a fraction of a second when releasing the puck. This will handcuff the goalie causing a rebound most of the time and more importantly you will score more goals. The goalie bases his position in the net based on the puck on your stick. Many players think it's based on what they see through their own eyes but that's sometimes a 4 foot difference and definitely a different angle. The goalie is prepared for a shot in a regular shooting motion. What I mean by that is the regular sweeping motion 3-4 feet away from a players body. But if you have the puck outside of that zone, say 5-6 feet, pull it into your body and shot from close to your skates then your changing the angle for the goalie by 5-6 feet in a fraction of a second. Ryan Getzlaf does this better than anyone in the league. Every shot he seems to pull the puck into his body and fire. More often then not it handcuffs the goalie. How Not to Build a Gyroplane
My Bensen type Gyroplane with a Subaru engine. Notice how much the tail is offset while flying straight. This machine did not fly very well. There were two main problems with my gyroplane. One is that the engine propeller thrust line passes thru the aircraft above the vertical center of gravity. The engine thrust is constantly pushing the nose of the aircraft down. You have to compensate with aft stick. Many gyros have crashed because the pilot over controls the machine when air conditions and pilot skills do not match. The fix is to raise pilot seat so the thrust line passes thru the vertical center of gravity of the machine. The other problem with my gyroplane is that the rudder only spans half of the propeller. The air coming off of the propeller is shaped like a cork screw. The air blows against the side of the rudder and forces it to the side. You must push opposite rudder to compensate. A rudder that spans the propeller from end to end will effectively push from both sides in opposite directions and no compensation is needed.

This will certainly damage our arm if we have to do so on the street, but we can learn to not get our arm broken. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes three years ago. Doctors believe that instead of fighting a virus, my body turned on itself. The insulin producing cells of my pancreas were destroyed. Now I get my insulin through a pump that has a device like a catheter inserted under my skin. This needs to be changed every couple of days. In addition I must check my blood sugar with a finger stick many times a day. I take insulin to correct high numbers and cover carbohydrates that I eat. I can eat the same food as a non-diabetic. Unexplained lows and highs are the hardest to deal with. It is difficult to concentrate and my grades in school are sometimes effected. This is my story and that of many other children battling this diesease every day.
