A side-by-side comparison between the Springfield XD Subcompact and the Glock 27 Subcompact, both .40 caliber pistols. I get more comfortable and am able to shoot the XD Subcompact a little better each time I bring it out; however, you can probably guess which gun I still favor. Thiings I like about the XD Subcompact: Grip feels good, sights are fine, seems reliable, breaks down easily, and seems accurate. Things I do not like about the XD Subcompact: size of frame and slide, difficulty in loading magazines by hand, trigger, and lower grip on gun as relates to the bore axis. On the Glock, I really dislike the hump on the grip, but I can find fault with nothing else on this gun, other than it's needing some add-on grips to get a great hold on it.

It comes with several accessories such as a retention holster, magazine pouch, and magazine loader. Hopefully this little gun will shoot as good as it looks. I will try to post my results from this guns first trip to the range. I will be runnig cheap CCI ball ammo and Winchester ammo through it to break it in.

The Squirt can handle most everyday tool taskings. Other Squirt models, as of 2008, include the E4 (wire strippers) and the S4 (scissors version). For me, the P4 is the most useful with it tiny pliers, pen blade, flat bladed drivers, file (cool!) and wonderful punch awl (all MTs should have this!). But this 2.0 oz sub-compact MT does have some limitations: don't expect the pliers to have great metal cutting or torque capabilities. Blame Isaac Newton as it's just a function of the Squirt's tiny size. As far as tiny MTs go, this is the best.

When the cats away the mice will play. My wife and kids went out of state to visit family. I took advantage of the time and went for a long day of shooting. Decided to take out my XD 9mm subcompact (cheaper than the other calibers to shoot, not to mention I like the gun too). Did a lot more than just shot while there, but that is for a follow up vid. I like performing drills and running and shooting as opposed to just shooting at the target. More challenging and much more fun. Interesting to see how my groups change as I insert more necessary steps in the shooting process, ie. Performing a mag change in the middle of a drill. Enjoy.

First range time with a new CZ 2075 RAMI sub-compact 9mm pistol for conceal carry.
