Alright, I finally managed to find time to make and upload this video, compiling several videos together. Sorry if I haven't been uploading much of anything for nearly the last two weeks but lack of motivation to do Mugen videos and doing other stuff I wanted to do is perhaps the blame. This time I make three matches using three Touhou characters on my Mugen team so here is what we have. 1)Youmu Konpaku vs Keine Kamishirasawa (Minoo w/ AI patch) Description: Well, we got ourselves another Touhou character that has never made a debut into IaMP or SWR but it's a disappointment since this is a Touhou character done pretty badly code wise. Shame considering her sprites are decently edited. What saddens me is that most of the projectiles from this Keine are coded like physical attacks rather than projectiles so even if you have a grazing ability by default it won't work. She also has a pretty high Defense of 125 along with 1100 Life so she takes longer to take down than most characters. With those factors all adding up I had to play opportunistic with Youmu, which is strange considering Youmu has an excellent rushdown game. 2)Suika Ibuki vs The Disapproving Bosses Description: Darkflares requested me to take the challenge to defeat 4 of any of his alternative (joke) team, The Disapproving Bosses. Even with Fullmoon MBAA Suika this one if going to be a hard shell to crack as they possess the cheapness of well.... Bosses. As for the bosses I'll lazily summarize them. -Original <b>...</b>

It's been too long since I uploaded a techno remix. This is a remix of a pre-battle theme from the first Touhou fighting game, Immaterial and Missing Power. It's heard when you're about to fight Suika Ibuki, the final boss of the game. She's basically a powerful oni who likes to drink lots of sake, and she appears in later games including the other fighting games (Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and Hisoutensoku) and Subterranean Animism. For those of you in the US, consider this a late greetings for Independence Day. A remix like this is definitely something I would put on at a party with something worth celebrating. I just love the whole feel of this arrange, and trance really goes well with the original song, in my opinion. Animangaki 2011 - Touhou Hisoutensoku Tournament - Loser's Bracket Playlist : www.youtube.com L14 - Jiande (Suika Ibuki) VS Yong Ken Sang(Remilia Scarlet) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Animangaki is a 2-days anime / manga convention event which was held at my University (Sunway University). Various entertainments such as Cosplay, Art, Band Performances, AMV competitions and the likes are found within this particular event, as you would in any other anime convention. This year, the club members has decided to include a Hisoutensoku Tournament to the fold as well (which started on Day 2 of the event), which was organized in the Touhou Corner by Itamaru. Tournament chart layout : www.printyourbrackets.com In this Tournament, there are two different brackets, which are the Winner's Bracket (Mxx) and the Loser's Bracket (Lxx) (As shown above). Simply put, everyone starts out at Mxx. (Think of it as having 2 lives, just like any other Touhou games). In the end, the top winner of Mxx and Lxx will pit against one another for the ultimate showdown. Suika Ibuki (I love and hate her) is the final boss of the game Immaterial and Missing Power, the 7.5 installment of the Touhou series. Normally the Touhou series is composed of shmup, but there are three games (more like two and a half) that are fighting games. IaMP is one of them, so basically a fighting game with "Danmaku Hell" written all over it. Is horrible, HORRIBLE D=. Also, the game wasn't made by ZUN, it was made by Tasogare Frontier. Probably under the supervision of the god though. Anyways, this video was a request made like a month ago by Pingasman. He won that trivia that nobody cared about back in the Subterranean Animism Extra videos. So congrats and sorry for being late. Anyways, he asked for one of three things: - Patchy vs Suika in IaMP Lunatic - Patchy vs Tenshi in SWR Lunatic - vs. Patchy in EoSD Lunatic I immediately scratched the last one for two reasons: A) I want to leave that for a EoSD Lunatic 1cc, b) Patchy is hard and random. She's randomly hard So I decided to do both of the above, but go an extra mile and show a run of Patchy's story mode in both. However, I scratched IaMP run because it was boring and uninteresting due to IaMP heavier focus on projectiles and slower pace than SWR. So I only left the fight against Suika. Touhou Fuumaroku: Story of Eastern Wind is an updated remake of the second Touhou game, Story of Eastern Wonderland. The "Extra" Stage is actually a brand new stage - the original Extra Stage is now called Yukkuri Stage. HOLY DEAR LORD IT'S CIRNO. If you remember Touhou 2, Rika (Stage 1 boss) came back originally in a new supertank for the Extra Stage... and Cirno continues the tradition, but in a new way. She's borrowed Mima's wings and staff, and is out for revenge. Hardcore, incredibly difficult revenge. The FPS slowdown MAJORLY changes some of Ex-Cirno's attacks... but those that it doesn't become worse due to it being harder to move precisely and follow bullet paths, so here's a play-by-play. Spellcard Names are NOT actual names. Yes. She has SPELLCARDS. Attack 1 - Really simple. It's all aimed circles. Not affected specially by lag. Ice Sign "Hesitating on First Steps" - Too bad I'm lagged up, as this attack REALLY slows down - bullets are spawned about 3-4x as fast normally. Bullets act the same once spawned, just the spawn rate changes. Damn easy lagged, moderately easy normally. Attack 2 - Again, simple, but only the middle 'ring' is aimed, the outer and inner rings is adjusted a bit. Can be hard to follow lagged, but easy enough. Ice Sign "Snowball Fight" - Can go to hell. Lag doesn't help a bit, the snowballs fly fast, and the explosions can be really unpredictable - thankfully, no explosions fly right at me. Let us start with something: this video marks the sporadic start of my first video recorded using the EVGA GeForce 9800 gtx+ video card and the first video rendered in 60fps. Doesn't the game already runs at 60fps? Yes, yes it does, I think. Maybe ZUN is lying. Whatever is the truth, for some reason when you record with Fraps and render with Vegas, the videos are in 30fps. I don't know the logistic behind this wizardry, but whatever. I feel this video looks smoother and overall nicer than the other vids, recorded at 30fps, even if Fraps says the contrary. Maybe I'm doubling the frames and it is actually running at 120 or 90fps. Case being, it looks nicer... but at a cost. These are: 1) Longer rendering time. I will only render at 60fps when I think the video deserves it (like Scene 8 & 9) 2) Space. Since there were only (ONLY?) 55 entrants, the pools are as such: Everyone plays everyone else in their pool: 2-0s are worth 3 points, 2-1s worth 2 points, 1-2s 1 point, 0-2s 0 points. The TOP TWO PEOPLE then advances to a single elimination tournament style bracket. Edit: My apologies to xtmnx, it seems that the top two people DO advance, and sometimes to the top THREE, to make an even 24 once you're out of the pools. There were 11 brackets of 5.
