Sam Witwer of the Syfy show "Being Human" was the guest tonight. I had a great time talking to Witwer about the chemistry he has on and off camera with his fellow actors, the similarities and differences between his show and the British version, the show's plot and acting choices. We also got into the speed with which they shoot, and his perspective on playing a villain and directing. Of course we geeked out a little on Star Wars. Being a major fan of Star Wars and voicing characters for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and The Clone Wars Witwer talked about the process of how that is shot and oh by the way, he did some great impersonations from the Star Wars movies!

I just heard this song a couple days ago for the first time, and fell in love with it instantly! And of course I had to make a Hatter vid to it ;) For the sake of this vid and to go with the lyrics, I had to "cast" someone as Hatter's father ("Insanity runs in the family, the side of my father" lyric), and I sort of stumbled into it being Ratty. Hatter's expressions when dealing with him are just too funny, and I think (I hope) it works well in context :)

This is just a fun vid I made on a whim. Basically it's about Hatter tormenting himself with thoughts of Alice being with Jack (the black and white scenes are Hatter's obsessive thoughts) and his jealousy driving him a little mad xD In the end though, he sees Jack with Duchess and tells Alice about it, which makes her confront them. Not sure if it was clear enough from the clips so wanted to explain ;) As a side note, am I the only one who sees a vague resemblance between Andrew Lee Potts and Brandon Flowers (the lead singer of The Killers)? I think that's why I'm compelled to make Halice vids to The Killers' songs. It's probably just me though...

Thank God. I was worrying wrinkles about the quality. Footage; "Alice" Songs; "Final Command" and "Valor Quest: No Choir" Artist; X-Ray Dog Made with; Sony Vegas 8.0c Pro Made in; a day I was trying to find a trailer to show my mom for Alice when I realized that it didn't really exist (only a Promo, and I didn't like that too much either). So I then decided to make my own, because I thought it'd be cool. This project was seriously the most fun I've had in editing for a long time, and it turned out very good, if I may say so myself. The audio could have probably used a little more tweaking, but I am satisfied with the result. :]
