This is a song heard when completing a quest to return the lost necklace of Sylvanas's sister, Alleria, to Sylvanas. She summons spirits of the fallen Highborne who with Sylvanas, perform the Lament of the Highborne. It's a very pretty piece. Unfortunately I messed up when recording it on my horde character, and can not do it again. So, I took the song from my Burning Crusade CE Soundtrack for other to hear. It's a very pretty piece in my opinion. The quest starts by getting the necklace to drop off of Fallen Rangers and the others in a general area in Ghostlands. sezax.wordpress.com Sylvanas was born into prominent family of Windrunners. She was the strongest of the Farstriders, elven rangers wielding druidic magic. As such she became the Ranger-General of Silvermoon and together with her sister Aleera helped the Alliance during the Second Wars and thus saved Quel´Thalas itself from the orcs and forest trolls. Later death knight Arthas led an undead invasion into her homeland in order to abuse the powers of the Sunwell for resurrection of slain necromancer Kel´Thuzad as well as to eliminate the High Elves. Sylvanas first fought him at the bordelands of Quel´thalas, where Eastern Plaguelands are today. Arthas and his undead Scourge managed to penetrate her defenses through their vast numbers and necromancy. Eventually undead conquered inner Kingdom and changed it into corrupted Ghostlands. After many battles Arthas cornered Sylvanas and her rangers with his undead lackeys and slaughtered them as well as most of the High Elven population. Such was his hate and respect for the slain Ranger-General that he resuerrected her as the Banshee Queen. Bound by the will of the Lich King, Sylvanas was forced to lead the undead siege of Silvermoon herself. Arthas ,,rewarded" her by returning her spirit to her dead body. Thus Sylvanas became the first of the Dark Rangers. Kel´Thuzad was reborn as a powerful lich and Sunwell was corrupted and lost to the Highborne. Survivors renamed themseleves in order to honour their lost comrades and relatives <b>...</b>

Music is for ENTERTAINMENT ONLY. ~Lady Sylvanas recovers a long-lost pendant to which she is reminded of her family and the past yet fallen Quel'thalas and as the memories haunt her she reveals her glistening sadness by singing this in-game after you complete the quest. In order to go through the process of this quest chain you must start by slaying mobs located at the "Windrunner Spire" in Ghostlands, in order to loot "The Lady's Necklace" which is dropped by a mob from there. After you've looted the item, right click on the pendant to receive and accept a quest which will lead you back to an NPC in Tranquillien. Speak to the said NPC, and accept the next quest he will give you to which it asks you to return it to Sylvanas Windrunner in Undercity. A startling discovery is made by Garrosh during the event, as he realizes part of what the Forsaken have been up to since the death of the Lich King. As you can tell, this is my first Sony Vegas project. It was requested by my brother, Jason. He loves Sylvanas Windrunner and Ayumi Hamasaki. I honestly think this was a tough one to make because well...the character doesn't really seem to fit the music but you know, you just gotta be creative at things. Lady Sylvanas - Lament of the Highborne
There are a ton of these I know but I made one for myself on my own alt because it's such an awesome quest that it was worth my time. That being said... After Prince Arthas betrayed and murdered his father, his blood lust and quest for power knew no end. He began to overrun and conquer all foes that stood in his way. Sylvanas Windrunner, the High Elf Ranger General of Silvermoon City, made all attempts to prevent Arthas from destroying the city but failed. Finally meeting face to face inside the walls of Silvermoon, Arthas did not kill Sylvanas like she asked. Rather, he brought her back as an undead to serve under the Lich King and charged her with finishing the destruction of Silvermoon City. All of this against her will. Sylvanas, using the Dreadlord Varimathras and the banshees, came to the city of Lordaeron. Once ruled by humans, it was overtaken by Varimathras' brother, Balnazar. Grand Marshal Garithos, the former ruler of Lordaeron, aided Sylvanas in the war against Balnazar for the city, but after Varimathras killed his brother, Sylvanas then revealed her true intentions and killed Garithos. With Balnazar and Garithos dead, Sylvanas, now the Banshee Queen, took the city as her own and resides there to this day with Varimathras at her side in the depths of Undercity. In a quest offered in The Burning Crusade you are charged with returning a lost necklace to Lady Sylvanas. Upon seeing the necklace from her sister Alleria, Sylvanas laments of the past when Arthas <b>...</b>

My first video! XD. Please be gentle! My resources were limited but I did my best. I do not own anything, this video was made simply out of my love for Sylvanas Windrunner of Warcraft. Song is "Kiss of Hades" by Inkubus Sukkubus. EDIT: I did not think I'd have to do this, but this needs to be said. SYLVANAS WINDRUNNER WAS A HIGH ELF AND NOT A NIGHT ELF. PERIOD END OF STATEMENT. Also, she is not a Blood Elf because she 'died' during Arthas' Silvermoon raid and was not a member of the renamed High Elves, aka Blood Elves.
