Watchmen
A complex, multi-layered mystery adventure, "Watchmen" is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the Doomsday Clock--which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union--moves closer to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the outlawed but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion--a disbanded group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers--Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Superman: Man Of Steel Trailer [Christopher Nolan/Zack Synder]
I put this together in light of the recent news that Zack Snyder will be helming the next Superman film with Christopher Nolan backing him up. This preview features my dream cast as well as the direction and tone i would like to see the film go in. I did not cast Superman because that is almost impossible. I think the film should contain an unknown surrounded by strong actors. Hope you guys enjoy. After Clark Kent exposes his powers to the world he exiles himself and travels the world, contemplating what his true purpose is on Earth. However his self imposed exile is cut short when a fellow Kryptonian, General Zod (Sam Worthington), comes to Earth looking for the one called "Kal-El", seeking answers about what happened to Krypton while he was in the Phantom Zone. Lex Luthor (Philip Seymour Hoffman) becomes obsessed with finding Kent and harnessing his power. Clark searches for Zod's answers in space and crosses paths with a face from his past, Jor-El (Jeff Bridges), Clarks biological father. UPDATES -Gotham Annihalation is close to being done. It will be the first to be released. -Hulk: DOA3 will be released sometime in December. Perhaps New Years Eve. -X-Men:Future Past and Bad Ass MotherF*ckers will be released January 2011
