Tenori-On and Roland TB-303
Getting the Tenori-On and Roland TB-303 Bass Line synth to sync up wasn't easy. The Tenori-On is driving the MIDI clock (through a MIDI/sync converter box), but it drifts slightly out of sync every time you switch between Modes or Blocks, or input new notes. Plus, because the Tenori-On's sequencer only seems to start and stop in place, there's no way to set it to start at the beginning of the measure except to carefully stop it right on the one. Hopefully a firmware update will make syncing the Tenori-On with other MIDI gear over MIDI clock easier in the future. Ebay item # 110458188145 This video was made to demonstrate the functionality of my Roland TB-303 Baseline Synthesizer that I am selling on Ebay. This TB-303 is an exceptional example in superb condition. It hasn't been modified or messed with in any way. Everything works 100%. NO scratchy pots, NO flaky, double triggering buttons, NO battery acid leaks (has the elusive battery cover) and the pots even still have the "new stiff" feeling to them. If you have always wanted a really nice example of a TB-303, this is it! This video was made with the TB-303 going straight in to the computer with no EQ. The drum and sample sounds are coming from a Casio RZ-1 Drum machine. At 2:45 I try out some distortion for the techno people. At 5:20 I add Some delay to the TB-303.
TB-303 & Reason 4.0 - Using Reason to Generate DIN Sync
www.peff.com Synchronizing the TB-303 with Reason by using CV/Pulse signals routed through a MOTU 896HD interface. Clock and Control Signals are generated in Reason Devices and converted to audio signals. The audio is then passed through a converter cable that connects to any Roland DIN-Sync device like the 303, 606, 808, 909, etc.

Comparing Acidlab Bassline, TB-303 and ABL
I'm comparing the sound of the original TB-303 to Acidlab Bassline MK1 and Audiorealism ABL2. For some reason the 808 is lagging. I probably managed to move the 808 in Ableton after I'd recorded it. Live with it or skip to the end of the clip. Sorry for this.

Acid take 2 - Roland TB-303, Jomox 999 & Analogue Systems
We love the Roland TB-303 (who doesn't?), so we went nuts with some Analogue Systems rs95 oscillators, triggering them with the CV and Gate outputs from the 303. The sound of the 303 is given additional balls by processing it through the Malekko B:Assmaster Germanium pedal...sacrilege. You can hear the TB-303 without extra balls at the very end between 6:12 - 6:18. Along with the AS rs95 oscillators we're also using the rs110 Multimode Filter, the rs120 Comb Filter, and the rs100 Low Pass Filter. The drums sounds are from the behemoth Jomox XBase 999 and we're using the Kenton Pro Solo MIDI-CV converter to sync the 303. One of the cymbals from the Jomox is running through the AS rs310 Reverb/Chorus module, which is being modulated by the rs80 LFO's triangle wave. The rs290 Sample/Delay module is providing the delay for that cymbal as well. All of these sounds are being mixed by the rs165 Signal Mixer.

Acid Jam Session 01 (TB-303, TR-909, TR-707, TR-606)
A little improvised monotonous acid-jam. Session starts and ends with empty patterns :) Just recently got the TR-909 and 707 so haven't really mastered them yet. All synced and triggered from the MC-909. Sounds coming from the TB-303, TR-909, TR-707 and TR-606 only. Hope you like it!

This is my last x0xb0x project. They are two x0xb0x beauties full of acid and mods inside. They have been made on hard steel cases and with a hard cover plexiglass. Auto powered inside, no needed to carry external PSU and finished with cool-retro style wood side ends. Knobs made on aluminium alloy and white leds. Inside them, we have some accent increased, sub-bass sound loudest than anyone x0xb0x made, ENV and MOD tweakings, 4 different distortion types like Highpass/Low pass distortions and warm/cool analog electronic distortion...etc etc and so many more!! Phuture - Acid Tracks (1987)
Profile: Phuture only released a handful of tracks (plus an album a full decade after their debut), but have remained a legendary act in the development of Chicago house for their stomping 1987 single "Acid Trax", the track that began and defined the acid house sound. The group was formed by DJ Pierre, synthesizer fan Spanky and Herb J in 1985 as a recording entity to produce records for Pierre to mix into his sets at several crucial Chicago clubs. After being turned on to the high-pitched squelch of the Roland TB-303 synthesizer (marketed as a bassline machine for solo guitarists), the trio emerged from the studio with a track they called "In Your Mind". Ron Hardy previewed the track at his legendary club the Music Box - where it became known as "Ron Hardy's Acid Track" - and Phuture re-made the cut with production by Marshall Jefferson. Released on Trax Records in 1987, the single created a dividing point between the Chicago sound before and after it, with hundreds of "Acid Trax" imitations flooding the local market. After it caught on in Britain as well, the single soundtracked the wave of club madness which coalesced in the rave movement by the end of the decade. Despite recording one single with immense influence on dancefloors around the world, Phuture etched a rocky path during the rest of the 1980s. Herb J left after their follow-up single "We Are Phuture", and was replaced by an up-and-coming producer, Roy Davis, Jr. DJ Pierre left several singles later, and was <b>...</b>

TR 808 vs. TB 303 Analog Live Session #6- The DIM Concept
Live session mix using mostly analog gear.. No PCs. Hardware used: Roland TR-808 Roland TR-909 Roland TB-303 Roland SDE 1000 Oberheim Matrix 1000 Access Virus TI Akai MPC 4000 DBX DDP Sherman Filterbank 2 Bellari Tube Amp Mackie Mixer Korg KMS 30 and a Tascam cassette deck :) The 303 and the 808 are run through the DDP. The tube amp is also running on the 303 to provide distortion. The MPC 4k is being used as a clock master providing midi out to the KMS30, which converts the clock to sync for the 303 and the 808. The 909 is run through the Sherman and brought back to a discrete channel in the Mackie. We hope you enjoy this session.. Long live hardware. Long live HOUSE!

But I didn't think it sounded right, so I had to find the correct notes online to fix what I had. This is the result What I did for the drum loop was I just took out a sample of the drum beat from "Da Funk" and imported it into FL Studio.
