A slide show inspired by "Taare Zameen Par", aka "Like Stars on Earth", discussing my own experiences with "invisible" disabilities and the importance of good teachers and volunteers. The music is the main theme from Taare Zameen Par, which is the best foreign film I've ever seen, even better than Slumdog Millionaire in my opinion. I'm so glad that Disney bought this film for distribution in the USA, Canada, and Australia. Since "Like Stars on Earth" was never widely released in USA theaters, it would be great to see it available on other venues in addition to home video. It would be superb to be able to enjoy this film on a Princess Cruises "Movies Under the Stars" giant LED movie screen, on an Alaska Airlines Dig-E-Player, or on the Amtrak Cascades trains. At the very least, I hope the movie finds it's way into schools, as the small number of educators who've seen it so far have given it excellent reviews. Since some dr.'s now believe that Walt Disney may have been dyslexic, perhaps the Disney Company would have the heart to donate free copies of the movie to schools in the USA, Canada, and Australia. Thanks again to all those who teach and volunteer, as you truly make a difference.
