Taizé Prayer extends an invitation to all to experience prayer in a way not commonly practiced. It encourages participants to undergo a journey to their hearts where the God of silence rests and listen to that voice that calls them from within. Repeating meditative chants in the midst of a prayerful atmosphere facilitates this journey. Taizé invites people of all walks of faith to a prayer that is contemplative and communal, dynamic and reflective. This video is a collection of photos from my personal experience of Taize prayer here in Los Angeles. The services depicted are part of the Loyola Marymount University CLC program. It is set to the song, "Come to Me", sung by Trevor Thomson from his "Before You" album.

Dedicated to our beloved Angels, to all the dear ones that had to leave us way too soon... Nada te turbe, nada te espante, quien a Dios tiene nada le falta. Solo Dios basta. Let nothing disturb you, let nothing make you afraid, if you have God you will want for nothing. God alone suffices. This is my version of "Nada te turbe", a song written by Jacques Berthier, based on a spanish text by Saint Teresa of Avila (1515-1582). I recorded it in a couple of hours, the same evening I was asked to sing it in remembrance of a special person that left this world way too soon... since then it has become a special song for me.
