Quentin Tarantino - The Works

The work of Quentin Tarantino has always left an impression on me. Although many think that he delves too deeply into paying homage to his influences, I feel that his films are kinetic, deep and always offer a great time at the cinema. Whether it be his unique style of dialogue or impeccable moments of tension, it's undeniable that Quentin Tarantino is one of the most talented directors working today. With this action packed and bloody installment of 'The Works', my goal was to display exactly what I feel makes Tarantino such a great director. Featured on this fantastic Tarantino Site! www.ReservoirWatchDogs.com As for which director is next, I haven't decided. I'm debating between two options, but either way or you'll end up seeing both of them at some point. Pulp Fiction

Critics and audiences worldwide hailed PULP FICTION as the star-studded picture that redefined cinema in the 20th Century! Writer/director Quentin Tarantino (Academy Award® Winner -- Best Original Screenplay, 1994) delivers an unforgettable cast of characters -- including a pair of low-rent hit men (John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson), their boss's sexy wife (Uma Thurman), and a desperate prizefighter (Bruce Willis) -- in a wildly entertaining and exhilarating motion picture adventure that both thrills and amuses!
Inglourious Basterds

In the first year of the German occupation of France, Shosanna Dreyfus (Melanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema. Elsewhere in Europe, lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish American soldiers to perform swift, shocking acts of retribution. Later known to their enemy as "the basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of the Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquis, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own.... Employing pulp and propaganda in equal measure, Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS weaves together infamous, oppressed, real and larger-than-life the stories of WWII.

A Quentin Tarantino Tribute

Hello! I started this video last summer and finally got around finishing it. Woohoo! It was supposed to be for a contest but I failed at finishing it, meh! The important thing is that it's finally done! This is my little tribute to one of my favorite film maker: Quentin Tarantino. This man is simply genius and epic. I adore his movies to a level I can't even describe! You have no idea how excited I am for Django Unchained, it's going to be something huge! I DID NOT use all the movies Tarantino wrote, directed or produced. Just some of them, so please, do not leave a comment telling me I forgot Natural Born Killers or anything else. I DID NOT forget them, I just didn't use them in the video! I already have another project in mind with ALL the movies Tarantino produced/wrote/directed/etc, so let's cross our fingers I find inspiration hehe! The Sin City scene was just a little wink since he has been a special guest director in the movie! Anywho, I hope you'll enjoy this and that it will entertain you a little! The voiceovers are all screwed up at some places but I wasn't able to fix them. Oh well! Special mention: I'd like to dedicate this video to my good friend Giulia (you may know her as missfrenki). She is one of my best friend around here and she's also a huge fan of Tarantino! She also was my beta with this video when I started it last summer! Thanks for the advices and it's always a great pleasure to talk with you girl! :) * All infos are at the end of the video. * I ...

BAFTA Guru: The Early Years with Quentin Tarantino. guru.bafta.org Having shunned a traditional filmmaking education in favour of self-tuition, the critically acclaimed director of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction sat down with BAFTA to discuss the benefits of being a self taught filmmaker. Whilst citing the obvious financial savings made by not attending film school, Tarantino went on to describe the natural progression he saw in himself by just filmmaking with no educational structure.
