Anti-Earmark Tea Party Caucus = $1 Billion in Earmarks

--The Congressional Tea Party Caucus made a big deal out of campaigning on reducing spending and eliminating earmarks, but was responsible for over one billion dollars in the 111th Congress, while Republicans historically spend more than Democrats. --Wondering where the Tea Party was during the deficit explosion under George W. Tea Party Diva Bachmann Attacks Ron Paul on Iran During Iowa Debate

Since announcing her presidential run, the establishment media has portrayed Minnesota Republican Michele Bachmann as the Tea Party's candidate. The Tea Party is supposed to be at its heart about the Constitution and the political philosophy of the founders, including George Washington's admonition about foreign entanglements. The original political cosmology of the Tea Party was lost when it was cynically exploited by Republican operatives. The Tea Party was retooled as a cheering section for the establishment. Bachmann, as the leader of the House's Tea Party Caucus, played an instrumental role in neutering it. On Thursday, Bachmann sparred with Ron Paul, who was instrumental in the creation of the original libertarian Tea Party before it was sold down the river to the waiting arms of Bachmann and the Koch Republicans. During a Fox News debate in Iowa last night, Ron Paul said the United States has no legitimate claim to block Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Bachmann, revealing her true neocon colors, said his position is dangerous. Bachmann said Iran is led by "an avowed madman" and committed to destroying Israel. She says Iran must be stopped. She diligently followed her neocon generated script to the letter and ignorantly repeated assertions about Iran that are not supported by reality but are in fact propaganda lies. /watch?v=sW9-RRRD14I

Congressman Billy Long Throws the Tea Party Caucus Under the Bus.wmv

Congressman Billy Long declared he was "Tea Party before Tea Party was cool" when he got to Washington. Then when he was asked why he didn't join the Tea Party Caucus, Congressman Long said he didn't have the time. Of course Long has been spending a lot of his time fundraising for reelection and one of the first things he did when he got to Washington was join the exclusive social club called the Capitol Hill club--using other peoples' money (OPM) who donated to his campaign. Then Long declared his voting record more conservative than the other Tea Party members in Congress, ignoring members of the Tea Party Caucus like Michele Bachmann and other influential Tea Party members of Congress like Ron Paul voted against Boehner's compromise, thus throwing these members of Congress and the Tea Party label under the bus for his own self promotion. Let's not forget all the not so conservative things Long has done in Congress since getting there in January. Long displayed tyranny in his first week in office by providing his enemies list to the FBI to have his critics investigated and then intimidated. Long trampled on the First Amendment in hopes of silencing his critics. That doesn't sound conservative to me since conservatives want to get government out of their way and not be hassled by the government. Then of course Long voted to continue pushing the neocon's PATRIOT Act, despite it's attack on the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment. As well, he co-sponsored the If You See ...
