Graham Coxon discusses his signature Telecaster®

Graham Coxon emerged from the 1990s Britpop movement as one of the UK's most acclaimed and distinctive modern guitarists. Through his hit-filled career with Blur and a highly renowned solo career, his sonic paintbrush of choice is most often a Telecaster guitar, and Fender now honors him with the European-only release of the signature Graham Coxon Telecaster guitar. Coxon is well known as one of modern rock's most avid aficionados of the Telecaster—"The first guitar I reach for," he said, and "One of the guitars I used to draw when I was at school and dream of having." Now he has one with his own name on it. The Graham Coxon Telecaster has a distinctive combination of a Blonde finish ash body, tortoiseshell pickguard, vintage-style single-coil Telecaster bridge pickup and Seymour Duncan® '59 SH-1 humbucking neck pickup with a black bezel for tone ranging from clear and sharp to warm and round. Other features include a C-shaped maple neck with gloss urethane finish, rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 21 medium jumbo frets, three-position switch with "top hat" tip, knurled chrome knobs on 375k volume and tone pots that contribute to brighter sound from both pickups, vintage-style Telecaster bridge with three threaded steel saddles, chrome hardware, vintage-style tuners, '70s-style headstock decal and Coxon's signature on the back of the headstock.

www.ProGuitarShop.com - The Fender American Deluxe Telecaster is an iconic instrument. The first solidbody guitar created by Leo Fender has been used in every conceivable playing situation from country, jazz, blues, and every type of rock music ever played. The Fender Telecaster has done it all. Now for the new decade Fender is proud to present a thoroughly modern version of this legendary instrument that does not lose sight of its classic tone and style. With the American Deluxe Telecaster, Fender has crafted a classic, fusing traditional and modern appointments for contemporary musicians. Start with an Alder body, the classic wood for superior tone, and then add a modern maple C neck, 22 medium jumbo frets, rosewood fretboard, and a satin urethane finish for smooth action. Fender now has added a compound radius neck to the equation, for unequaled playability. Fret chords with ease on the lower frets, and on the higher frets you can ramble and solo with equal ease. This is a truly modern feature that contributes to the sweetness of this Tele. The N3 Noiseless Pickups have been reconfigured for rich Telecaster tone, but with absolutely no hum or buzz. These third generation noiseless pickups are sparkling, chiming, and absolutely soulful in every way. The N3 Noiseless pickups deliver astounding vintage Telecaster tones, but in conjunction with the reconfigured S-1 switching system, the tonal options are expanded. Fender Blues Deville Telecaster

www.ProGuitarShop.com - This Fender Blues Deville 410 screams with Andy's Custom Shop Telecaster. The Fender Blues Deville is a true working guitarist's amp with tons of twang and sparkle or dirty southern grit from the overdrive channel. The combination of a Telecaster and the Fender Blues Deville is unbeatable, allowing a guitarist to cover almost any gig. The Fender Blues Deville 410 is a reissue of the Fender Tweed Series introduced in 1993. Since its inception, the Fender Blues Deville has won many hearts and ears with its full, warm blues tone and perfectly balanced overdrive channel. The Bright switch on the clean channel gives the Blues Deville some bite and twang for solos or country tones. When pushed hard, the clean channel overdrives in a smooth, tight manner that is perfect for crunchy rhythm work. The dirty channel provides just enough 12AX7 drive to sear in some leads and chunk up the rhythm section at lower volumes. With a Groove Tube 6L6 driven power section the Fender Blues Deville delivers 60 watts of smooth power into 4 Eminence Alnico speakers for that classic Fender tone.

Fender Telebration Modern Thinline Telecaster

This is the Fender Telebration Modern Thinline Telecaster, a double-bound, semi-hollow stunner from Fender's Tele-bration lineup. This guitar is based on the 90's incarnation of the Thinline Tele, but with some modern refinements aimed at the player. The light, resonant ash body features the distinctive Thinline F-Hole, and is finished in Olympic White with brown shell double binding, accented by a 4-ply tortoise shell pickguard. The Maple "C" neck is finished in gloss urethane on front and satin on back, with a 9.5" fretboard radius and medium jumbo frets, combining a vintage aesthetic with smooth, modern playability. That fat, yet spanky, Thinline tone is in full effect with a set of American Tele single coils, married to Fender's No-Load Delta Tone Control and a 3-way switching. Other modern touches include staggered tuners, a New American Standard bridge, Bi-Flex Truss Rod system, and a 60th Anniversary neckplate with Micro-Tilt, for a Tele that plays almost as good as it looks. - proguitarshop.com

www.dolphinstreet.com - Here is a demo of the Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster '50s, with a Fender Pro Junior. I didn't use any pedals in this video. It was guitar - cord - amp. I added a little bit of reverb to the guitar when I mixed it down, just so that it wouldn't sound so super dry, since I have very little natural ambience in my recording studio. I use 09 - 46 D'addario strings, and the action is set quite high. I roll off the volume knob and tone knob here and there in the video - pay attention to that when you hear a difference in the guitar tone, as you are listening to this video.

Fender FSR Ash Telecaster

This Fender FSR Ash Telecaster is a Factory Special Run, available only for a short time. It's distinctive characteristic is it's gorgeous, natural-finish Ash body. Ash is a classic tonewood, used on some of the earliest Telecasters, and is beloved by Tele enthusiasts for it's warmth and bright, bell-like upper harmonics. Other qualities of this Fender FSR Ash Telecaster include Hot Tele Single Coils, for vintage twang with a little extra punch, and a modern "C" neck with a tinted satin finish. This neck has a comfortable, broken-in feel with thoroughly modern playability, thanks in no small part to the 9.5" radius fretboard and 21 medium jumbo frets. Combining the best of the old and new, the Fender FSR Ash Telecaster can cover a lot of ground, from traditional blues and country to punk rock grind.
