Terje Odin Kaspersen's CD single, recorded November 2009. Filmed in Lillestrøm, a suburb of Oslo, Norway. Terje Odin is a bass player and vocalist from Lillestrøm. This is his first solo project, the song will appear on his first album which is being recorded for Odin Skanse Records at the Hermani Studio during this winter (2009/2010). Video by Pelle Lindstad, Svarte Skauen Studio. The release date for the single is November 29 2009, and the money generated by the sales will be donated to Kirkens Bymisjon Lillestrøm, earmarked for use in its low threshold work service . There is no commercial element in this release. The artist, musicians, designers and the videomaker are all working for free in support of the Bymisjon.

A glimpse of the concert by the Norvegian group founded by Terje Isungset, with Lena Nymark and for the first time Sidsel Walstad on the ice harp. The group is playing on handmade istruments made out of ice, the horn is made out of the ice of the glacier of val senales, south tyrol in italy, where the concert took place. The concert was held during the 45th icemusicfestival (february-march 2010)in a cave which was carved out from the glacier, close to the place where the famous iceman (Ötzi) was found. www.icefestival.it

"The Prayer" has been used in performances of "Hip som happ" and "Deja Vu" (in Grenoble), and is recorded on the ECM CD "QED"(4th movement). "The Prayer" can also be heard with strings only, in the music score for "Kjærlighetens kjøtere" ("Zero Kelvin"). With orchestra conducted by Christian Eggen, The Chasers feat. Bugge Wesseltoft on keys. What he says (in norwegian) is: The guitar has two extra bass strings, so the range is expanded with an octave. He loves to make the "Twin Peaks" sound....Legend says Fender made it for free when they heard it was for Rypdal. This TV-documentary was aired on TVNorge, and made by Frode Rabbevåg.

www.ttrworldtour.com World record holder Terje Haakonsen's TTR 5STAR Oakley Arctic Challenge 2007 took place in Oslo in the beginning of March. 850 TTR points were up for grabs and Kevin Pearce (USA) brought them home with a flawless performance in the final including huge McTwist and sick BS Airs. Speaking of which: Norway's very own snowboard superstar TERJE HAAKONSEN wrote history on the sunny qualification day and broke the world record with a 9,8m BS Air (late 180). Another spectacular rider was Jake Blauvelt (USA) with his 9,4m BS Air that would have broken Heikki Sorsa's old highest Air record as well. What a contest. Swatch - Catch the Moment - Terje Haakonsen
Born a nature child, Terje learned all the fun of sports fast: soccer, ski jumping, athletics and al-pine skiing. He won them all. He was on the regional team in both soccer and alpine skiing. He discovered the snowboard upon turning 14. He won his first competition only two months after getting his first board. Terje made his way onto Burtons global team at age 15, whilst still striving in 9th grade at Vinje Ungdomsskole (school). He made his debut at the World Cup in St Moritz, and to everybodys surprise he captured 5th place in the half-pipe! The champ came into his own in 1991 with his first European Championship in the half-pipe. He has earned a total of 3 US Open victories, 5 European Championships and 3 World Champion-ships. He has garnered many top rankings in World Cups and invitational events. He quit counting World Cup points after the 1994 season. In the winter of 2002, the ISF went bankrupt after fighting the FIS for six years. Several players from the snowboard scene approached Terje to join new forces. Terje was reluctant, because he knew the value of the total independence of the Arctic Challenge. But the coalition of TTR touched him with a solid philosophy: rider-driven, genuine snowboard values and focus on progression. Terje and TAC are placed on centre stage by TTR: nine great snowboard events around the world earn qualification spots at TAC. Terje and other top riders now have a powerful say in the philosophy and progression of the sport.
