A documentary about the history of skateboarding (with german Subtitles). It won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature. Using a mix of film the Zephyr skateboard team shot in the 1970s by Craig Stecyk and more recent interviews, the documentary tells the story of a group of teenage surfer/skateboarders and their influence on the history of skateboarding (and to a lesser extent surfing) culture. It is narrated by Sean Penn and directed by Stacy Peralta. Much of the archival footage used in the film came from teenagers who wanted to be a part of the Z-Boys group but were not good enough skateboarders so they got to be a part of the Z-Boys group by filming and photographing them. The film's $400000 budget was financed by Vans, Inc., whose skateboarding shoes Stacy Peralta had been paid to endorse during his days as a professional skateboarder. Dogtown is the nickname of a portion of "the Santa Monica, California area that Pacific Ocean Park bridge[s].Jeff Ho's shop was on the corner of Bay and Main, right next to where the Horizons West shop founded by Z-Boy Nathan Pratt currently exists. According to Stacy Peralta in a 2008 interview, "Dogtown has sold over a million DVDs and more than 700000 VHS."

London Boys were Edem Ephraim (lead singer) and Dennis Fuller (backing vocals, choreographer) both from Greenwich, London. Plus "third" London Boy Ralf-René Maué based in Hamburg, Germany who wrote and produced all their material. The recipe for that unique London Boys sound was a crossover style made of "High Energy" disco roots mixed with glam rock attitudes, huge anthem-like chorus melodies, rap, distorted rock guitars, contemporary dance grooves and, for the first time in pop history, Gregorian chants. Everything expertly arranged and blown up to a larger than life scale by Ralf-René Maué's superb Phil-Spector-like (solid walls of sound!) disco-drama production skills. The strong visual aspect of the London Boys, with Edem and Dennis being two good looking extremely fit guys with a professional dancing background was the icing on the cake. Selling millions the London Boys reached nearly double platinum status in the UK plus gold/platinum and double platinum in various countries throughout Europe and especially Asia. Sadly Dennis and Edem died in a horrible car crash. But their music will live on. London Boys 4ever. Enjoy!

"Fat Boys" was a single and the title track from a hip-hop album by the group of the same name. It was originally released in 1984 on vinyl and cassette, peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B album chart. As of 2011, it has not been re-released on compact disc in North America. The Fat Boys was a successful American hip-hop music trio from Brooklyn, New York City, that emerged in the early 1980s.
