FreedomNetDaily.com http Occupy Wall Street protesters arrested on Brooklyn Bridge www.guardian.co.uk More than 700 people were arrested on the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday evening during a march by anti-Wall Street protesters who have been occupying a downtown Manhattan square for two weeks. The group, called Occupy Wall Street, has been protesting against the finance industry and other perceived social ills by camping out in Zuccotti park in New York. During the afternoon a long line of protesters numbering several thousand snaked through the streets towards the landmark bridge across the East River with the aim of ending at a Brooklyn park. However, during the march across the bridge groups of protesters sat down or strayed into the road from the pedestrian pathway. They were then arrested in large numbers by officers who were part of a heavy police presence shepherding the march along its path. At one stage 500 protesters were blocked off by police on the bridge. At least one journalist, freelancer Natasha Lennard for the New York Times, was among those arrested. "About half way across the group of people who wanted to occupy the bridge launched their action and stepped into the road. They wanted to get arrested. It was sort of the idea," said Yaier Heber, one of the marchers. But others said the sit-down protest appeared to happen only after the protesters were deliberately blocked off by police after actually being allowed onto the roadway. The Whole World is Watching. This video is intended to be viewed with my blog, located at captblackeagle.blogspot.com. A more detailed narrative will be available there in a few days. The Video is in 5 Acts, that describe my journey to founding the Tea Party Movement. Yes you heard me right. I founded the Tea Parties, no need to thank me. Act 1 is a poem read by Robert Lamm of the band Chicago. The title of the poem is "When All the Laughter Dies in Sorrow", by Kendrew Lascelles. Mr. Lascelles is best know for his poem The Box, which was performed by John Denver on his album "Poems and Prayers and Promises" When All the Laughter Dies in Sorrow, suggests that the Human Race is being observed by some "Greater Thinking Thing" and our activities though important to humans, has little effect on this "Greater Thinking Thing". In the last line the poet asks the question "Do you think that a greater thinking thing, will give a damn that man was here"? You can read the full poem on my blog listed above. Act 2. Is a short description of my journey to understanding my political beliefs and the documents that created our nation. The song is "Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten", by Arvo Parte. From The Seekers farewell concert July 7 1968 at the BBC in London. The last time they sang this song as a group in the sixties. One Direction - They saved our lives.
"I absolutely hate it when people say One Direction are just a band. They don't even realise how wrong they are. One Direction are so much more than a band. So much more than just five boys. They are our inspirations. They have no clue about this, but they saved our lives. Not in the way you're thinking. we've never thought about committing suicide and we never will. They saved our lives, because they are the only ones who can put a genuine smile on our faces after each day. They are the only ones who can make us cry with simple things like their voices or simple acts. They are the ones that we can honestly say, make our lives worth living. We know it sounds absolutely ridiculous and crazy that we are actually saying this about five boys that we probably won't even get a chance to have a proper conversation with, they don't even know that some of us exist, but they mean so much to us. We can't go a day without listening to their whole album, their X Factor covers and watch at least a couple of videos. We check their twitters and we check for news about them every day. Because they're not some regular boy band. They actually mean the whole world to us, and if we ever get the chance to talk to them, we will make sure to tell them exactly how much they mean to us, and that even if we don't really know them, they are probably one of the most important parts of our lives, and we are pretty sure that they will always be.
