This is the first Lego animation or "Brickfilm" as some people would call it, ever made, by a genius named "Lindsay Fleay". It was created in Perth, Western Australia between the years of 1985 and 1989! I talked to Lindsay and he gave me permission to upload this to my Youtube channel. Normally I wouldn't upload someone else's work, but I had to spread the word on this classic. Here's the blurb from Lindsay's website: www.rakrent.com "The Magic Portal is a short stop motion film that uses LEGO®, plasticene, cardboard and pixellated live action, made between the years of 1985 and 1989 on good ol' fashioned 16mm film. The story concerns the strange fate of a LEGO astronaut called L, who discovers the Magic Portal on board his giant spaceship. The Portal takes him to a strange and surreal LEGO world where he has a close encounter with a Monster and barely escapes with his life. His report to Captain Paranoia only gets him to trouble and his friend and shipmate P, doesn't believe him. However, the Portal has a mind of its own, and reappears to upset the cosy world of the giant spaceship and its crew to reveal weirder worlds more peculiar than the last..."

Penny Hardaway v. Heat 1997 Playoffs Game 3
People who follow the NBA today forget how good Penny Hardaway was before all his injuries. For all of his great performances, this, to me, was the defining moment of his career. Shaquille O'Neal had moved on to the Lakers, and the Magic had suffered through a tumultuous 45-37 season that included the firing of Brian Hill and several injuries to key players. Hardaway himself missed 23 games due to injury, and many felt he was responsible for the player mutiny against Hill. Waiting for the Magic were the powerful Miami Heat, coached by Pat Riley and anchored by Alonzo Mourning. The Heat had finished 61-21 and would go on to the Eastern Conference Finals after rallying to defeat the Knicks in the next round. In the first two games of the series, the Heat dominated, obliterating the Magic in every facet of the game. The same thing was happening in Game 3, as the Heat took a 20-point lead in the second quarter. The Magic, who had been swept out of the playoffs in each of the last three years, probably had that same result on their minds. But then, Hardaway took over, carrying his battered team to victory. Starting power forward Horace Grant was out for the series, starting center Rony Seikaly broke his foot in the second quarter, and starting swingmen Nick Anderson and Dennis Scott were severely limited throughout the game. At one point, the Magic were forced to use Danny Schayes at center, but it didn't matter. Hardaway put the team on his back, scoring 26 first-half points <b>...</b>

PART 2 OF2 - 2ND HALF AND OVERTIME A recap of all the points scored in Game One of the 1995 NBA Finals between the Houston Rockets and the Orlando Magic by Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon and Shaq along with highlights of other key moments in the game. This was a good hard-fought game between two of the best centers and three point shooting teams in the league at the time. The Rockets team included along with Olajuwon, Drexler, Kenny Smith, Mario Elie, Robert Horry, and Sam Cassell. Some key members of the Magic besides for Shaq were Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, Nick Anderson, Horace Grant, Dennis Scott, and Brian Shaw. In the end, Nick Anderson missed 4 crucial free throws in a row to give Houston a chance to tie the game in regulation. Then with Houston down by 3 with a couple of seconds on the clock, Kenny Smith nailed his 7th three pointer of the game to send it into overtime after Dennis Scott was rejected at the buzzer by Robert Horry. In overtime, Scott hit a 3 to tie the game at 118 but then Hakeem made the game winning tip off the Clyde Drexler miss with .3 seconds remaining to win the game for Houston, 120-118. Houston would go on to sweep the Shaq-led Orlando Magic.

Hendrix - Traffic Jam
A purely instrumental affair, alternately dated as 1968 or 1970, this studio material is among the most intriguing unreleased pieces of either performer. The lineup is listed as Jimi Hendrix (guitar), Steve Winwood (piano), Chris Wood (flute), Rick Grech (bass), and Jim Capaldi (drums), but the actual lineup of these recordings is uncertain. Only Hendrix is identifiable with certainty. The overall sound resembles Traffic, and the piano and flute parts seem particularly recognizable as Steve and Chris, respectively. The music on this cd consists of jams that, in contrast to Traffic's usual melodic sensibilities, range from minor key to almost atonal structure. Some of the magic of the "Voodoo Chile" session is also evident on this recording. The jams sound basically spontaneous, organized around particular keys with shifting tempos, and lack a distinct song structure. None of them sound like they were even intended to have vocal parts. For the most part, the piano and drums drive the rhythms while the guitar and flute solo. The extraordinary aspect of the recording is the complementary interplay between Jimi and Chris. While Jimi builds upon driving vamps that eventually erupt into molten solos, Chris counterbalances with his usual delicate, mellowing flute. The result of this collaboration is at least interesting, and sometimes magical. Unlike other Hendrix jam sessions, Jimi seems to have a lot of respect for Traffic and doesn't fully dominate the proceedings, which <b>...</b>
