iPhone 5: harder, better, faster, stronger

SUBSCRIBE to Next Media Animation: www.youtube.com The new iPhone, iPhone 5 to reviewers, is rumored to feature a bigger screen and be the last iPhone designed by Steve Jobs. The new iPhone's 2012 release date is not known. Facebook: www.facebook.com Webpage: www.nma.tv Twitter @nmatv: twitter.com Tumblr: nmatv.tumblr.com The iPhone 5 rumor mill heated up after Apple purchased the iPhone5.com domain name. According to the rumors, this is the last iPhone for which Steve Jobs oversaw the design. According to the new iPhone rumors, after noting the success of Android phones with larger screens by Samsung and HTC, Steve Jobs reportedly lifted his opposition to a phone too large to wrap one's fingers around. The iPhone 5 will feature a bigger 4-inch screen, compared to the 3.5-inch screen used in other iPhones. An updated operating system, iOS6, will also be released. Other new iPhone features include a 12-megapixel camera, A6 quad core processor and liquid metal chassis. Though Steve Jobs allegedly "worked closely" in the new iPhone, it will face stiff competition from the latest Samsung and Google Nexus smartphones. Now that Steve Jobs is no longer with us, will his successor Tim Cook be able to continue Apple's success? Or will Apple go the way of other famous franchises that have lost charismatic founders?

Steve Jobs' Complex Relationship with Tim Cook

Complete video at fora.tv Adam Lashinsky, author of Inside Apple, delves into the complex relationship between Steve Jobs and Apple employees. Jobs restricted the outside personal activities of Apple employees, with the exception of COO Tim Cook. Jobs was cultivating a personality very different from himself, believes Lashinsky, because "I think it would have been very difficult for Jobs to have tolerated being succeeded by someone like him." ---- If Apple is Silicon Valley's answer to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, then Lashinsky provides readers with a golden ticket to step inside. In a 2008 Fortune cover story entitled, "The Genius Behind Steve: Could Operations Whiz Tim Cook Run the Company Someday?" he predicted that Tim Cook, then an unknown, would eventually succeed Steve Jobs as CEO. Come hear the secret systems, tactics and leadership strategies that allow Apple to churn out hit after hit and inspire a cult-like following for its products as well as predictions for the future in the post-Steve Jobs era. Adam Lashinsky is a business journalist and commentator with special expertise in finance and technology. An insider to Silicon Valley, he has written in-depth articles on Apple, Google, eBay, Hewlett-Packard and Intel. He has covered hedge funds, venture capital, private equity and the post-Katrina economic recovery of New Orleans. Apple CEO Tim Cook Visits China Foxconn Manufacturing Plant

After months of questioning Apple's deals with Chinese manufacturing company Foxconn and the treatment of workers at plants that make gadgets like the iPhone and iPad, the tech giant's head has visited the plant in question. Photos provided by Apple this week show Tim Cook smiling and visiting with some of the reported 120000 workers employed by Foxconn's large plant. An investigation into manufacturing there by the New York Times has suggested low standards for treatment of workers and safety concerns. Cook also met with political leaders in Beijing. Apple may be going on the PR offensive now that one of the biggest negative stories about conditions at the plant was infamously retracted by Public Radio's This American Life, after much of contributor Mike Daisy's reporting was found to be fabricated. But there isn't much story to the visit beyond a few pre-approved photos. The only great power that controls its media as tightly as China is, apparently, Apple.

Tim Cook, Apple CEO, kicked off the Special Event with a broad overview of where Apple stands as a company, the kind of introduction Jobs would normally give. Cook doesn't come up to Jobs' level for energy and enthusiasm, but he does provide useful information, such as the fact that Apple has now shipped over 250000000 iOS devices, way more than Android or any other competing mobile OS.

New iPad 3 Review - Presentation Video HD

www.freeipad3online.com - New iPad 3 Review - Presentation Video Hd I've just gotten out of a quick hands-on session with the new iPad (and yes, it's just called the iPad), and have come away with exactly the feeling I expected to have: that I need to buy one. The first thing you should know, and also the reason there aren't many pictures, is that as far as weight and shape, it's almost exactly the same as the iPad 2. They wouldn't allow comparison shots — probably because the new iPad is a little thicker — but the dimensional differences are minor and the overall feel is near-identical. Let me tell you why I'm going to buy the new iPad. Or rather, let me show you.

Apple new iPad Special Event 3/7/12 Tim Cook Opening and New Apple TV Remix

Go to www.technomicon.com for our full article on the new iPad. Apple CEO Tim Cook began the event by giving a sort of State of the Industry summary of the so-called "post-PC" world, in which Apple has become dominant. It's all about mobile devices, and nobody builds 'em better than Apple. Cook also showcased a couple of store openings in Amsterdam and Grand Central Station in NYC. He then segued into the new Apple TV, which isn't, as some had predicted, an actual television, but a revised set-top box. The changes to Apple TV are all good: 1080p output to go with Apple's new iTunes video content, and real time Air Play mirroring that allows viewing games on an HD TV while using an iOS device as the wireless controller, which we had predicted in Technomicon over a year ago. Remix deletes the music video and adds Eddie Cue's Apple TV demo.

Tim Cook is most popular CEO of 2012

An annual survey conducted by Glasdoor.com, an website that studies the opinion of the employees working for big companies about their CEOs, showed that Steve Jobs was overtaken by Tim Cook in Apple's eyes. A recent survey based on the opinion of the Apple's and other big companies' employees, places Tim Cook on top of the highest rated CEOs in 2012. The study was conducted by Glassdor and it covers March 2011 -- March 2012 time frame, thus it's worth mentioning that Tim Cook is Apple CEO since August 2011. Even so, the employees' approval rating for the new Apple CEO is the rating scored by Steve Jobs over the past few years, but we are talking about only a 2% difference, given that Tim Cook has less than one year as Apple CEO. In the Glassdoor's top 25 highest rated CEOs in 2012, Tim Cook overtook the CEOs of Qualcomm, Google, Intel and VMWare, with an approval rating difference of maximum 7%. The Microsoft CEO is nowhere to be found in Glassdoor's top, and it a somewhat normal situation given that Steve Ballmer is not very popular lately. Summing up, Tim Cook has the employees' approval, but I don't believe that he will ever be more popular than Steve Jobs among the brand's fans. According to the survey, Tim Cook was named the highest rated CEO based on feedback from employees, with an approval rating of 97% compared to 95% -- Steve Job's employee approval rating while he was in charge at Apple. Cook took over the Apple CEO job after Jobs had to step down because of ...
