In the Albanian capital Tirana, at least three people have been shot dead and several others injured during a rally. Thousands of protesters gathered outside the Prime Minister's office demanding the government step down over corruption allegations. Police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowds who called for fresh elections. The country has been in a political deadlock since the opposition rejected the result of the ballot two years ago. Opposition leaders in Albania are vowing to hold more anti-government protests, a day after three people were killed in clashes with police. They are calling for an end to Prime Minister Sali Berisha's government following a corruption scandal. .
