Fender Rhodes solo by Toby Smith from 'Blow Your Mind' from Jamiroquai's debut album 'Emergency On Planet Earth'. Way before I discovered Herbie, this was the album that introduced me to the Rhodes for the first time. Toby Smith is one of the great keyboard players in my opinion - not just for his Rhodes playing (check out the comping in 'Hooked Up') but for the way he understood the capabilities of all his Moog synths, how to program them and how to play them in a truly funky way.
