French police have officially confirmed the suspected serial killer Mohamed Merah is dead after a 32 hour siege ended in grenade explosions and gunfire. I love this Doobie Brothers song although I was hard pressed to interpret the lyrics into video almost resulting in no video. Reports are coming in from Toulouse, France, that exposions have been heard around the flat of the suspect in the Toulouse shootings. Some reports state the assault by police and security services are underway, while the interior minister is saying that the assault is about to be mounted and that the explosions were just to intimidate the gunman - intimidate him by blowing the doors off a small flat? am i missing something here? why not just finish the job and take him?
