Here is the music video release for The King Blues track 'The Streets Are Ours', taken from the Save The World, Get The Girl album. Such an incredible experience working on this music video. We have tried to convey the idea of reclaiming the streets, anarchy and revolt. To do this, we aimed to enforce an idea of 'Paint-Anarchy' reclaiming the streets in explosions of colour. Shot at three separate locations: London's South Bank skate park. Custom built studio shoot in a garage. Student Fee Protests throughout London in 2010. Produced in accordance with the Music Video Unplugged - Digital Film and Screen Arts course at the University of the Creative Arts, Farnham, Surrey. Shot on a Canon 5D Mark II & Canon 7D. 2x 50mm 1.4 lenses. Edited on Final Cut Pro, version 6.0.6. It has been amazing given the opportunity to work with such a fantastic team, with a fantastic track - making the shoots and the final edit fall in to place so tightly. Originally, this version was supposed to be on the box set, but for whatever reason, it was scrapped... until eventually it made its way onto bootlegs containing rare/unreleased studio recordings. Second of all (and here comes a huge bummer), it's basically nothing more than a handler of commands directed from the Central node of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces to the launchers. Yes, you read it right, this is the station that's giving orders to missile launchers, as well as they give feedback to the Missile Forces. The messages correspond to most likely a previously arranged code table, which most likely describe what types of missiles will be tested. It's most likely just for testing of the missiles. The ATC tapes, released by the Canadian Press, have not been made public since the 1998 crash that killed 229 people. The tapes contain hours of recording including the final dramatic 12 minutes of the flight before the aircraft plunged at high speed into St. Margaret's Bay, NS, near Halifax. I talked about the fact that I listened to this recording on Facebook, and here it is for your ear's delight (LOL...)! This is SEPTA #7126 on the 14 line to Frankford TC I caught this bus right after catching SEPTA #5775 on the same line, so yes, this was a Night Owl run. That damn driver was gunning this bus so hard, I winded up losing it! Add to the sexy sound of that engine's cooling fan, and I was no fucken good folks! NOTE: I do advise listening to this one with headphones. I recorded this from a different spot so I could catch the "gruntorque" sound effects, but you can still hear everything. Just may be a bit quiet though... This is a 1998 Neoplan AN460 with a Detroit Diesel S50 engine and Allison B500R transmission. To kick off this week of audio recordings, here's GRTC #118 on the 2 (Patterson Avenue) line to Regency Square. The ride on this bus was absolutely superb; it took the driver a little bit to negotiate those streets, but once the bus got on Patterson Avenue, it was smooth sailing. I enjoyed the smooth shifting of the transmission, and to be honest, I wish I could still enjoy that...but #118 is long gone...
