Occupation Nation: US cops serve & protect the 1%

American anti-corporate Occupy protesters are being allowed back into a New Orleans park, after getting permission from a federal judge. A lawmaker has already called for an investigation into claims of police misconduct in dealing with activists. The movement shows no sign of dying down across America, with thousands demonstrating nearly three months after the first protests in New York. My MFA thesis adviser at American University School of Communication was Professor Russell Williams, who won the Academy Award for Best Sound in Glory (1989) and Dances with Wolves (1990). Electric guitar music was performed by Rogel Maprangala SYNOPSIS The purpose of the half-hour documentary, Politics of US Occupation, was to challenge the historical awareness of the audience as it explores the following: Firstly, it argues the idea that the Philippine-American war of 1899 (and not World War II) is the foundation of Philippine-US relations. The film also visually shows footage of World War II combat and deaths that were just as traumatic as the images of the Philippine American war. Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: US Police State Masquerades as A Democracy

Americans, the British, and Western Europeans are accustomed to thinking of themselves as the representatives of freedom, democracy, and morality in the world. The West passes judgment on the rest of the world as if the West is God and the rest of the world are barbarians in need of chastisement, invasion, and occupation. As readers know, from time to time I raise questions about the validity of the West's extreme hubris. www.paulcraigroberts.org www.infowars.com www.prisonplanet.tv twitter.com www.facebook.com

Gerald Celente, the Kleptocrat's Carry-Trade and the Revolution against Financial Occupation

Follow us @ twitter.com twitter.com A US lawmaker is reportedly planning to introduce the "Sound Dollar Act" early next month. This is legislation that would move the federal reserve from its dual mandate of maintaining price stability (which is anathema to the dollar debasement that it creates through its massive money printing operations) and keeping unemployment low (which it has failed to do...curious...) to just promoting price stability. Hmmm...what would that mean for the Fed's unofficial mandate of trashing the dollar? And Turkey, the fastest growing economy after China, is being penalized in the credit markets for failing to promote consumer savings, according to bloomberg. What? You mean savings matter!! That's amazing...ummm not to us it isn't. You can't have economic growth without savings, because you can't have investment without capital. Capital comes form savings, and growth comes from investment, but its shocking how many people think money "grows on tress." Can you blame them, when we have a serial money printer at the Federal Reserve, pushing us all into serfdom and neo-feudalism with a policy of perpetual bailouts and zero percent interest rates? Oligarchy here we come! Finally, with central bank policies of the fed and ECB amounting to --trash for cash -- as economist David McWilliams puts it with his "Punk Economics: Lesson 2," turning "water into wine." Military Industrial Complex - Rise of the War Economy

▀█▀ █▀ █_█ ▀█▀ █▬█ BeKnown www.facebook.com President Dwight D. Eisenhower's Farewell Address to the Nation: This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -- economic, political, even spiritual -- is felt in every city, every Statehouse, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together. Paul Joseph Watson: NATO Prepares "Humanitarian" Occupation Of Libya

Thousands of British and American troops on standby to head off potential Gaddafi counter-attack Paul Joseph Watson www.infowars.com Tuesday, August 23, 2011 Preparing to head off any potential counter-attack by Gaddafi forces, NATO powers are readying a "humanitarian" occupation of Libya with thousands of British and American soldiers, risking the possibility that troops could be sent into yet another quagmire to rival Afghanistan and Iraq. Eager to control the country's vast oil resources and its 144 tons of gold bullion, a plan to send in troops would represent a complete violation of the UN's own resolution authorizing military intervention, unless of course the soldiers were labeled "peacekeepers" and inserted under humanitarian cover. Recall that the EU ground invasion force that was proposed back in April was similarly couched in humanitarian rhetoric and yet would have been empowered to "secure sea and land corridors inside the country," a transparent military objective. "Hundreds of British soldiers could be sent to Libya to serve as peacekeepers if the country descends into chaos, Downing Street indicated last night," reports the Daily Mail. "The troops have been on standby for Libya since the start of July. All their kit is packed and they are just waiting to get the call to go," said one source. Similarly, a US occupation force has also been on standby for several months. As Infowars reported back in June, military sources indicated that 30000 troops from the ...

Globalists Want Permanent Occupation of Iraq US has "no intentions of ever leaving" even as December deadline nears Paul Joseph Watson www.prisonplanet.com Friday, June 17, 2011 Despite the fact that US troops are scheduled to leave Iraq later this year, chatter arising out of the recent Bilderberg conference in St. Moritz strongly suggests that the occupation will be prolonged indefinitely, even as US military forces prepare for new interventions in Libya and Syria. Around 46000 US troops remain in Iraq, with the current timetable mandating that all be withdrawn by December 31, 2011. However, this date has continually been put back ever since George W. NOTE: It is important to separate hunting down terrorists who attack our country and deserve justice (which Ron Paul is 100% for), and not confuse justice with occupying entire countries for a decade under the guise of the "War on Terror" or "Spreading Democracy". This speech is called "Imagine" and it was given by Ron Paul on March 11, 2009. The original text of the talk is below: Imagine for a moment that somewhere in the middle of Texas there was a large foreign military base, say Chinese or Russian. Imagine that thousands of armed foreign troops were constantly patrolling American streets in military vehicles. Imagine they were here under the auspices of "keeping us safe" or "promoting democracy" or "protecting their strategic interests." Imagine that they operated outside of US law, and that the Constitution did not apply to them. Imagine that every now and then they made mistakes or acted on bad information and accidentally killed or terrorized innocent Americans, including women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions or consequences. US military complex gets rich off of Afghanistan

Description: The US is famous for going to other countries with goals ranging from retaliation to installing democracy to stopping a civil war. And quite often the US Government and the military alike are surprised at what they find: that people in those countries don't want them there and, in many cases, will risk or sacrifice their lives to make sure they leave. We're seeing a new low point in America's longest war, unfolding as we speak. Riots in Afghanistan, as citizens there protest the burning of Korans by US military personnel at Bagram airbase. Some American soldiers have been killed and many more Afghan citizens are dying as well. And there's beginning to be a sense that the battle to win the hearts and minds there is simply impossible. American Military Helps Iran - 1964 United States Army Documentary / Operation Delawor ایران

In April 1964 a Persian word meaning "courageous" became known to Americans as the name of a bold military adventure. An entire airborne brigade with heavy equipment was airlifted to Iran, land of the ancient Persians. American and Iranian armed forces successfully demonstrated their combat readiness in "Exercise Delawor", the subject of this episode of THE BIG PICTURE. "In April 1964 a joint military exercise with the United States (Operation Delaware) partially reassured Tehran of Washington's continued interest in the region. Annual military exercises continued with an increased Iranian naval component. In March 1965 the Shah publicly declared that Iran's military would in the future pay special attention to the Gulf. The Gulf was of interest to Iran both for its proximity to the rich oil fields of its southwest and for the oil-rich continental shelf that lay beneath its contested waters." (The Foreign Relations of Iran, Shahram Chubin & Sepehr Zabih, University of California Press, 1974.) Note: some sources quote this military action as "Operation Delawar", some as "Operation Delawor" while others as "Exercise Delaware". To confuse matters further the translation of the word meaning "courageous" from Persian to English is best written as "Delaavar" or "Delavar". In the context of this documentary all these terms refer to the joint American / Iranian military operation that commenced in 1964.

Occupation 101: Voice of the Silenced Majority (Documentary)

an award-winning 2006 documentary film on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict directed by Sufyan Omeish and Abdallah Omeish, and narrated by Alison Weir, founder of If Americans Knew. The film focuses on the effects of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and discusses events from the rise of Zionism to the Second Intifada and Israel's unilateral disengagement plan, presenting its perspective through dozens of interviews, questioning the nature of Israeli-American relations — in particular, the Israeli military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, and the ethics of US monetary involvement. Occupation 101 includes interviews with mostly American and Israeli scholars, religious leaders, humanitarian workers, and NGO representatives — more than half of whom are Jewish — who are critical of the injustices and human rights abuses stemming from Israeli policy in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza. Palestinian Christians are as equally discriminated against as Muslims. It is a conflict between a Palestinian identity verses a superstitious Jewish one

US GOVT. GIVES TALIBAN A BILLION $ - CIA CREATED TALIBAN - CIA CONTROLS MILITARY - CIA RUNS DRUGS

FULL ARTICLE HERE: www.infowars.com "It's near-impossible to find anyone in Afghanistan who doesn't believe the US are funding the Taliban: and it's the highly educated Afghan professionals, those employed by ISAF, USAID, international media organizations -- and even advising US diplomats -- who seem the most convinced," reports the Guardian today. "The US has an interest in prolonging the conflict so as to stay in Afghanistan for the long term," said one Afghan. It does not take a lot of research to prove the Taliban — and al-Qaeda — were fabricated by the CIA in league with Pakistani and Saudi Arabian intelligence. As the Guardian reported, most Afghans know "America's war strategy" is a joke and only the American people are fooled and also fleeced. For years the corporate media has told us the Taliban fund their insurgency with profits from a huge opium industry. But even Obama's special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Bilderberger Richard Holbrooke, admits this is not the case. "In the past there was a kind of feeling that the money all came from drugs in Afghanistan," said Holbrooke last year. "That is simply not true." In fact, before "everything changed," the Taliban banned opium cultivation in Afghanistan, an effort the corporate media characterized as an effort to run up prices. However, after the defeat of the Taliban, the drug trade, under the supervision of the CIA, would once again blossom. "After five years of the US occupation, Afghanistan's drug ...

Malalai Joya: US acts like Rambo killing already dead Bin Laden

RT sits down with a former Afghan MP-turned human rights champion. Malalai Joya braves death threats and assassination attempts to expose what she calls the dark side of life in her country. Joya claims the NATO occupation has only brought more suffering to the people of Afghanistan. She says her country is suffering from three evils at the moment: overwhelming corruption of the regime, indiscriminate violence of the occupational force and regional warlords whose actions differ little from those of the Taliban.

OCCUPATION 101 ~ Zionism ~ Full Documentary

A thought-provoking and powerful documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Unlike any other film ever produced on the conflict -- 'Occupation 101' presents a comprehensive analysis of the facts and hidden truths surrounding the never ending controversy and dispels many of its long-perceived myths and misconceptions. The film also details life under Israeli military rule, the role of the United States in the conflict, and the major obstacles that stand in the way of a lasting and viable peace. The roots of the conflict are explained through first-hand on-the-ground experiences from leading Middle East scholars, peace activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices have too often been suppressed in American media outlets. The film covers a wide range of topics -- which include -- the first wave of Jewish immigration from Europe in the 1880's, the 1920 tensions, the 1948 war, the 1967 war, the first Intifada of 1987, the Oslo Peace Process, Settlement expansion, the role of the United States Government, the second Intifada of 2000, the separation barrier and the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, as well as many heart wrenching testimonials from victims of this tragedy.

Nobody Can Predict The Moment Of Revolution ( Occupy Wall Street )

NOTE : check out our follow up film : www.youtube.com We want to share insights into the formation of a new social movement as it is still taking shape in real time. The video was shot during the 5th and 6th day of the occupation. This idea to occupy the financial district in New York City was inspired by recent uprisings in Spain, Greece, Egypt, and Tunisia which most of us were following online. Despite of the corporate media's effort to silence the protests, and Yahoo's attempt to to censor it in e-mail communication, the occupation is growing in numbers and spreading to other cities in the US and abroad. Please forward our video to likeminded people via email, facebook, twitter - and make the voices of dissent circulate. Find the latest news, learn how to participate and support: occupywallst.org

Rachel - An American Conscience (Rachel Corrie)

Rachel: An American Conscience Yahya Barakat, english, 2005, 93 min. The late Rachel Corrie (1979 - 2003) was articulate, straightforward and resolute. Her castigation of Israel's military occupation of the Palestinian people and the Israeli Government's disregard for the safety of Israelis and Palestinians rang with clarity. Through peace activism she ascertained the facts on the ground. She called it as she saw it. The documentary, "Rachel Corrie: An American Conscience," chronicles her humanitarian work with the International Solidarity Movement in Rafah, Gaza Strip, just prior to her murder in March 2003. While Corrie stood in front of a Palestinian home to prevent its demolition, an Israeli soldier in a Caterpillar D-9 bulldozer crushed her. Director Yahya Barakat, a professor in the Mass Media and TV Department at Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, edited 80 hours of film footage from Gaza, the West Bank and Olympia, Washington for two years. He created a cinematic collage of international voices; people who work for peace and who support the Palestinians in their daily life activities. Through interviews, Barakat presents a collective chastisement of the military occupation, the US and Israeli Governments, as well as US mainstream media. en.wikipedia.org www.rachelcorrie.org
