Snorkeling Cinnamon Bay - St. John, USVI
Located on the Northshore of St. John, Cinnamon Bay is one of the most popular beaches on the island. Today we snorkeled out and around Cinnamon Cay, a couple of hundred yards off the beach. Reef fish galore along with, Spanish Makerel, Parrot Fish, and Barracuda. All in a days fun in the sun. We finish off the day with a cigar at sunset on Vie's Beach Campground, 340-693-5033, only $35.00 per night, the best accomodations deal on the island. Barracuda!!! Diving Waterlemon Cay - St. John, USVI
The Reluctant Tour Guides head out from Vie's Beach, through Coral Bay to the Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins. From there they hike one mile to Waterlemon Cay. An exciting dive follows starting with the encounter of a 4 foot Barracuda. We get close and its' jaws open wide!!! Time for a good teeth cleaning!! That was close! Freediving the Mangroves of St. John, USVI
Mangrove diving is mesmerizing. The mangroves of St. John's Hurricane Hole in the US Virgin Islands are some of the best in the world. The water clarity, calmness and diversity of marine life are amazing. This particular mangrove area is protected in that it is part of the US National Parks of St. John and was also declared to be part of a National Marine Preserve by Pres. Bill Clinton.
