www.janson.com Al Capone: The Untouchable Legend is a new one-hour biography of the most notorious gangster in history. On January 17th, 1999, Al Capone would have celebrated his 100th birthday. His exploits in the early part of the century have inspired authors, journalists and filmmakers. Myths have always been woven around the figure of Al Capone. Born in Brooklyn, he began his career in crime as protege to New York underworld boss Frankie Yale in the early 1920's, and then moved to Chicago where he made himself a multi-millionaire from the protection business, gambling, brothels, and speakeasies. He is most infamous for planning the massacre of seven members of a rival gang on Valentine's Day in 1929. This was also the year the Justice Department named Eliot Ness to form a special crime-busting squad which came to be known as "The Untouchables." In 1931 Alphonse Capone was convicted on income tax evasion and began an eleven year sentence in the Federal Prison on Alcatraz Island. Capone died in 1947 and is buried in Chicago's Mount Carmel Cemetery. But who really was this man? How did this child of Neapolitan immigrants become the most legendary gangster of the "Roaring Twenties." The Untouchables (sometimes known as The UTs) are a soul/mod revival band from the Silver Lake, Los Angeles, California area. They formed in 1981 as part of the embryonic LA mod revival, after being inspired by the ska revival/punk rock band The Boxboys. Since some couldn't play instruments, they either hastily learned, or became vocalists. The original lineup included: Kevin Long (vocals), Chuck Askerneese (vocals), Terry Ellsworth (rhythm guitar), Clyde Grimes (guitar), Rob Lampron (drums), Herman Askerneese (bass) and Jerry Miller (vocals, timbales). After a shaky start playing at parties, the integrated septet were eventually booked at the ON Klub (known as the On to regulars). The band had guaranteed the club that they would pack the venue, and they did not disappoint. In middle of that year, they released their first 7" single, copies of which were snapped up by local mods. The Untouchables originally played covers such as "We Ain't Got Nothing Yet" (Blues Magoos), "Whatcha Gonna Do About It" (Small Faces) and "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone" (Monkees) in addition to their own songs. Late in 1982, the band began a stint as the house band at the Roxy Theatre. Terry Ellsworth left the band in the summer of 1983, at the height of the California mod revival. Josh Harris was added on keyboards, and Will Donato (who became a successful smooth jazz artist) started on sax. They call themselves "dalit" which means "broken, shattered people". Every day, two dalits are murdered, three dalit women are raped and two dalit homes are engulfed in flames, torched by members of the higher castes. In the province of Bihar entire villages of the "shattered" are wiped out by extreme right-wing paramilitaries of the higher castes. In other provinces, the Untouchables have no access to drinking water, cannot enter temples or use public transport. Even at police stations they are often asked to pay "admission"... The documentary records gruesome images of violence and discrimination; images of the trampling of every sense of human rights. Moreover, it reveals the extent of what international bodies describe as the "secret apartheid" of India. Left 4 Dead - Dead Air - UNTOUCHABLES Achievement w/ BOTS
Most people have a hard time getting UNTOUCHABLES achievement with bots. Although in Dead Air Finale it is pretty easy. The only hard part is dealing with the Tank, it must die really fast. To do this you must have two people in the group with Auto Shotguns. I noticed the bots will always use the same weapons. Bill - Assault Rifle Louis - Assault Rifle Francis - Shotgun Zoey - Sniper Rifle So if you use Zoey and pick up a Shotgun you will have the perfect group makeup to kill the horde from ranged and kill the Tank really fast. On Dead Air Finale a trick I figured out with the Tank is to make him come up over the top of the big airplane or from each side. I set a trap with Propane Tanks on each side of the plane and in the middle. Propane Tanks will stun the Tank making him even easier to kill. During the Tank phase run to behind the large airplane and wait for him to show up to unload on him. Stay close to the plane so that the Tank aggros you instead of the bots. If he throws rocks it should be at you. The bots can finish the Tank real easy after blasting 10 rounds in to him with the Auto Shotgun.
