A Utah motorcyclist who was pinned under a burning car, expressed his gratitude on Tuesday for the help of strangers who lifted up the the 4000 pound (1.8 tonne) vehicle to rescue him, in an act of bravery captured on amateur video. Authorities said 21-year-old Brandon Wright was riding his motorcycle on Monday near the Utah State University campus in Logan when he collided with a black BMW that was pulling out of a parking lot. Tyre and skid marks on the highway indicate that Wright laid the bike down and slid along the road before colliding with the car. The bike hit the car's hood and bounced to the ground, while Wright, who was not a wearing helmet, slid under the car and then both vehicles burst into flames, police said. Wright was pinned to the ground as the flames began to engulf the car. The video shows a crowd of about 10 men and women gathering around the burning car and motorcycle as flames shoot into the air. LOGAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) -- A motorcycle crash in Logan just outside Utah State University trapped a young man beneath a burning car Monday morning. Good Samaritans jumped into action and likely the sole reason the young man survived, albeit serious injuries. Flames were shooting in the air as 21-year-old Brandon Wright of Logan was trapped beneath the hot metal. Calls for help flooded 911 Dispatch. Caller: "Looks like someone might be under the vehicle. Cars are burning. You better send somebody out here." Wright was driving eastbound on US Highway 89 when a black BMW pulled out in front of him. A major US road was closed for hours after more than 20 million bees escaped from an overturned truck. The flatbed lorry carrying 450 hives overturned near a construction site on Interstate 15 in Utah. "The driver lost control, hit the concrete barrier and rolled over. Of course, we then had bees everywhere," said Corporal Todd Johnson with the Utah Highway Patrol. The road in southern Utah was shut for several hours on Sunday evening and Monday morning, officials said. Local beekeepers worked through the night to gather the escaped insects. There was a net over the hives but bees were still able to escape after the truck overturned. The truck driver and two police officers responding to the accident were stung but the injuries were not life-threatening, Cpl Johnson said. "There were about 450 colonies on the load and probably about 45000 bees to the colony," said Richard Adee with Adee Honey Farms in Bruce, South Dakota. Mr Adee said the bees were being taken to Bakersfield, California for almond pollination next spring. "We stacked the equipment back together, put them back on trucks and trailers and whatever we could find to move them out of there," said beekeeper Melvin Taylor of Santa Clara, Utah. "Then we tried to move them as far out of the metropolitan area as we could. Because when those bees come alive today they are going to be mad that their house is all (broken) apart," Mr Taylor added.

A man is saved from a fiery crash in video that you have to see to believe it happened. You can watch as bystanders gather together to save a man's life. He was riding a motorcycle in Logan, Utah when it slammed into a BMW and both vehicles caught fire. When you watch the video, you can't see the rider, 21-year-old Brandon Wright, because he's trapped underneath the front of the car. As the flames grow, several bystanders jump into action. They lift the car up, so that a couple of other people can get to Wright and pull his limp body out from under the car and away from the flames. Releasing eared grebes into Quail Lake after they crash landed during a snow storm in Cedar City, Utah Dec 13th, 2011. Martin Tyner, founder & CEO of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation was among the volunteer rescuer's that cared for and released thousands of wild migratory birds that were grounded by the snow storm. The grebes can only take off from water and mistook parking lots, roads and freeways as lakes and rivers; landing on what they thought was the safety of water but in fact was asphalt. Phone calls started coming in shortly after 10 pm on December 12th and continued throughout the night and the next few days as people were directed to where the birds could be dropped off for examination and transportation to lakes in Hurricane and St. George areas that were not frozen over. Many birds were injured during crash landing and many others were killed by snow plows. Fortunately, the combined efforts of Southwest Wildlife Foundation, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and the citizens of Southern Utah have saved over 3000 grebes so far.

I was at the Kansas city aviation expo/airshow (in wheeler downtown airport, KC, Missouri) on Aug 20th and witnessed a biplane crash (the airplane is the "Beast") and was piloted by Bryan Jensen. I was taking pictures and thought why not take a video even though my camera is a Sony W-350, because I loved his stunts. But no sooner did I start recording he crashed nose first. Was kind of hard to believe at first 'cause I was sure he was gonna pull it off, but unfortunately I was wrong. For a second I lowered the camera to look at the crash and then realized it was still rolling so put my camera back up to the crash scene.

I've been seeing these rainbow colored UFO's for 2 night's in a row.(.9-6 & 9-7-2011 ) looking east, out of my backyard in St George, Utah...last night I saw 5 UFO's exactly like this one all in the same general area of the sky, within my backyard view....I didn't have a tri-pod for my camera so the still pictures I took last night were wobbly and squiggly, but you could make out the rainbow colors. Motorcycle rider who was pulled from beneath a car and burning motorcycle say he's alive today because of a dozen bystanders who rescued him from the wreckage. Brandon Wright, 21, suffered several broken bones, road rash and some bruises as a result of being pinned under a car Monday and was recovering Tuesday at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray Wright's uncle, Tyler Riggs, said Brandon remembers everything that happened. "He remembers being under the car spitting out blood, not being able to talk, and he told his parents that that was really scary when he couldn't talk," Riggs said. A group of bystanders in Utah worked together to lift a burning car off a motorcyclist and drag the man to safety.

A motorcyclist who was dragged beneath a car in Logan, Utah was rescued by bystanders who helped police lift the burning car and pull the man out from under the wreckage. The injured man, 21-year-old Brandon Wright, was rushed to the hospital and was in stable condition with some broken bones and minor bleeding.
