I'm uploading this mostly for proof that I've gone through (most of) the statmaxing process, and for completion 'cause I'll be uploading vids of every aeon. Fight starts at 1:40. HP 15975 MP 924 STR 255 DEF 255 AGI 255 EVA 111 MAG 121 MDF 255 LUK 67 Break Damage Limit - raises damage cap to 99999. Evade & Counter - allows character to evade most attacks and return fire. Magic Counter - allows character to counter magical attacks. One MP Cost - reduces all skill and spell costs to 1MP. Break HP Limit - raises HP cap to 99999. Auto-Protect - character has innate, undispellable Protect status. Auto-Haste - character has innate, undispellable Haste status. Confuseproof - character has almost complete immunity to Confuse status. This is my equipment straight from the Monster Arena; it's not tailored for a dark aeon fight at all. Confuseproof was only ever there so I could farm One-Eye for triple AP before I started the statmaxing process.

Well, I'm into RPG'S again, so I decided to play my favorite Final Fantasy once more, since I'm too lazy to do a full walkthrough, I'll be doing the dark aeons fights, enjoy :) Dark Valefor is an optional boss in the International and PAL versions of Final Fantasy X. She guards the entrance to Besaid Village when the party returns there after obtaining an Airship. Strategy: Dark Valefor uses physical attacks, as well as Valefor's special attacks: Sonic Wings, Energy Ray, and Energy Blast (as Overdrive), which hit the entire party. Energy Blast can deal massive damage, so it is best to use Auto-Life or call an Aeon, when Dark Valefor's Overdrive gauge is full. The enemy has low HP, so she can be defeated quickly, before she causes any trouble. However, the party should have high Agility and Luck. Very high Strength and Defense are also very useful. Her Overdrive gauge also charges up very quickly so your speed needs to be maxed out before it attacks. If your Strength is high enough, Wakka can take Dark Valefor out with a single Attack Reels. Part 132 - Battling Dark Valefor. Dark Valefor is the first and weakest Dark Aeon. It's stats are around 120-150 except for its high magic defense of 230ish and halving most spells damage. It's health is about 800 000 only. If you want this to be challenging you need to head here pretty early with low stats. If your stats are around Dark valefors you'll still have to avoid using Attack Reels & Blitz Ace or it'll be over instantly with her low HP. If you have too high stats, using an Aeon works well and it's fun.

Wakka knows how to handle balls. I know, it's cheap and all that stuff but hey, 2 blitzball leagues and 2 tournaments aren't exactly fun or short. It's not like they would be impossible without, it just wouldn't fit on 1 video. There is no reason to level up defence as Auto-Phoenix takes care of anything, which makes HP also worthless. All of the Dark Aeons are possible without much defence or HP. No Penance btw, as I've done that guy once already and he is boring, long and requires a solid strategy and near maxed stats.

Ive decided to upload my old fights, the other dark aeon vids are from a file in which cheats were used to increase aeon stats, however this is a file where i have done it manually, hence the challenge is much greater, to make this easier i could have levelled Anima more highly, but i couldnt be bothered, i got a bit impatient after 200 hours :)
