Valmet 882kk Feller Skidder with full tracks Chieftain Forge was the Valmet distributor during the 1970s and 1980s. The film was shot by John Scott for promotional use at exhbitions like the Royal Highland Show. The film was shot on a Canon super 8 cine camera and converted using a DV camera.

Custom Valmet 445EXL Feller Buncher Version
I decided to take the harvesting head that came with the model off and put a felling head on it. Not that I don't like the harvesting head, its an amazingly detailed attachment, but I like felling heads more instead. I had to add the linkage, cylinder, hinge, and drill two holes into the stick. Taking the harvesting head extending stick was not an easy task lol. Just a few more touch ups left to do. All parts were taken off of the 1:50 Ertl Deere 959K feller buncher model for this project.

Firing the .223 Valmet Semi-Auto Assault Rifle
The RK 62 76, also known as the Valmet M76 is a gas operated assault rifle of Finnish origin, which was also made in semi-automatic version for civilian market. Based on the earlier Rk 62 (Rynnäkkökivääri 62, Assault rifle 62), it is a modified AK-47. The gun was in production from 1976 to 1986. Its receiver is made from stamped and riveted sheet metal, instead of Rk 62's milled receiver. There are eight types of M76, four of which use 7.62x39mm M43 ammunition, while the other four use 5.56x45mm NATO rounds. They use 15, 20, or 30 round magazines. Finland used the 7.62 mm version, while Qatar and Indonesia use the 5.56 mm version.

The Valmet harvester training simulator
The training simulator is based on a Valmet 911.4 harvester. The simulator uses the real Valmet joysticks and seat. The simulator is fully integrated with Valmets control system - MaxiXplorer. The simulation is imaged in front of the operator on a crystal clear LED screen. Another important feature is the motion platform.
