Here is my cold start video of my 1996 1.7TD Astravan with 163000miles on the clock. It's about 0 degrees when I'm starting it off of one glow plug heat cycle You can notice the age of the engine when you hear the valve gear rattling away to begin with. This goes away though as soon as you rev and get sufficient oil pressure to fill the tappets fully. Hopefully one day I can manage to post a video of a cold start of my pick up if I ever manage to get one, I'd love a Powerstroke Ford or a Cummins engined Ram. If only Fuel, Insurance and Tax weren't so dear in this bloody country!

Suono del motore Turbo Diesel della mia prima macchina: Opel Astra 1.7 Turbo Diesel 82cv 215.000 km anno '97. Grande auto mi ha dato tante soddisfazioni e non mi ha rimasto mai a piedi!!! Dite quello che volete voi, il suono del trattore, i diesel non sono sportivi ecc ecc magari avete anche ragione (anche se penso che attualmente benzina e diesel si equivalgono in prestazioni e ognuno ha i suoi pregi e difetti e io sinceramente(ora mi ucciderete tutti ahah) preferisco il turbo diesel); ma adoro questo suono così aggressivo e rumoroso al minimo di giri e poi adoro quando parte il turbo e senti il fischiettio !!!!!!!!!!!!! Grande Astra grazie di tutto
