www.serduchka.com Andrei Danilko was born in the city of Poltava. In 1990, he starts working and creates his most brilliant character -- the conductor Verka Serduchka. April 1 of the next year, at a humor contest in Poltava, Verka Serduchka was officially presented. The vivid image created a real sensation, after which Andrei Danilko went on his first concert tour to Stavropol Region (Russian Federation). Following Serduchka, Andrei Danilko creates other characters: the actor performs in the image of policeman, teacher, soldier, female ballet dancer... This way, the complete theater of Danilko is established which successfully tours the cities of Russia and Ukraine. March 1995 -- International Festival Sea of Laughter where Andrei wins grand prix as a performer. Summer 1999 -- Danilko Theater tours Russia and other CIS countries. Everywhere the performances are accompanied by elevated interest on the side of spectators and mass media. Autumn 2000, Andrei becomes the winner of Arkadi Raikin Cup at the festival Humor Cup for Serduchka personage. Year 2002 -- tours in CIS and Baltic countries. The whole year long, Andrei Danilko and his theater shows the program "I am a Revolution". Summer 2003 -- the concert tour I Am Born for Love. The Danilko Theater visits cities of Russia and Ukraine. Apart from Aleksandra, the "StudioAlektik" comprises a violinist Ivana Makevic Madjaric and a cellist Karmen Rencar. The composition of the ''StudioAlektik'' band was in time extended to include DJ Billy nine and violinists Kristina Suklar and Ana Sabo. All the members of the"StudioAlektik" are highly qualified musicians holding graduate degrees earned at the academies in Novi Sad and Vienna. DJ Billy nine is a Dj-ing professor in the first DJ School in Serbia "Kulturno Skloniste", and a founder of the ''Respect DJ'' movement. In 1990, Andriy Danylko started to create the character Verka Serduchka, a flamboyant middle aged woman and train conductor. At a humor contest in Poltava on 1991-04-01, he presented Verka Serduchka publicly for the first time. He invented the character's name by combining the randomly picked first name Verka and the real last name of a former school classmate, Anya Serduk.[1][2] Apart from pop and dance numbers, Danylko has also appeared under his real name, performing ambient musical compositions.
