Come with Violette on a Visual Journaling adventure! This is part two of the Journaling series. Get out your supplies, have fun, chill, don't be too serious! Here are some supplies that i have used: Cardstock, micron pens, eraser, glitter glue, mod podge, graphite pencil, twinkling H2O's, newspaper, receipts, tags, candy wrapper, folkart paint, stamp pad (in the color of your choice). By the way, the Vegetable soup turned out great. Here are some of the ingredients: broccoli, cauliflour, carrots, onions, garlic, black beans, baby carrots, knor's veggie soup mix, lemon juice, corriander, cumin, bay leaf. Yummy!

He is alone in a garden thinking about his love for a woman who is nobly born. A rough idea of the song's meaning is: Are these violets a message for me? Do I have too much ambition? Am I aiming too high in loving such a wonderful woman? He is considered the founder of the Neapolitan school of opera. He was the father of two other composers, Domenico Scarlatti and Pietro Filippo Scarlatti. Scarlatti was born in Palermo, then part of the Kingdom of Sicily. He is generally said to have been a pupil of Giacomo Carissimi in Rome, and some theorize that he had some connection with northern Italy because his early works seem to show the influence of Stradella and Legrenzi. James Kalm brings viewers along as he peddles through a Thursday night double bill. Banks Violette is one of New Yorks most provocative young artists. Deriving much of his imagery from the banality of Heavy Metal cliché, the main piece for Not Yet Titled at Team Gallery is Zodiac a ghostly recreation in cast salt of the motorcycle his friend Steve Parrino drove to his death. Across town in Chelsea we slip in to see Jessica Stockholders Sail Cloth Tears at Mitchell-Innes & Nash. Stockholder constructs gerrymandered tableaus of brightly colored everyday objects combined with strokes of rich pigment to bring the language of painting into a three dimensional space. The works reflect not only an artistic sensibility but a knowing appreciation for the industrial cheerfulness of consumer products.

Here a few scenes of one my old time favourite movies Violette et François with Isabelle Adjani and Jacques Dutronc from 1976, I recorded the movie from tv, and tried to find the DVD, but unfortunately it seems that this movie was not yet released on DVD (at least, I'm unable to find it). Strange, I think it's worth a release, personally I love this movie. Violette (Isabelle Adjani) is fascinated with the shabby background and low-down ways of her boyfriend Francois (Jacques Dutronc), and despite her middle-class family's objections, she marries him. Unable to keep a job, and without any real skills, he has a hard time supporting them, especially after the birth of their baby. He turns to shoplifting, and she briefly leaves him when she discovers this. Sometime after they get back together, with money still in short supply, she takes a turn at shoplifting too....
