Review in description! ______________ Ferrari Virtual Academy is a F1 simulator. The aim of this game is lap times. Sadly there are no AI to race against, which would be awesome. Compared to it's closest F1 rivals, F1 2010 and rFactor, FVA is up there at the top. The graphics are very nice, not as high quality as a modded F1 2010, but there no lighting bugs. The driving from all the sim racers I have played, FVA is unrivaled. rFactor comes close, but as the tracks are done by modders rather than payed, experienced professionals with laser scanners and high res cameras, the realism of the track isn't as good as FVA. Sadly, there is no damage system in the game, no tyre wear, but there is a fuel system. The force feedback is excellent. Very similar to, if not the same system used in Netkar Pro. You can't customise the cars setup, the game gives you a selection of setups with a description to choose from. Which in my opinion isn't such a bad thing. FVA costs €14.90, for that you get 1 car and 3 tracks. More tracks may come in the future and who knows, maybe some extra features, like AI to race. If you're looking for a good F1 simulation, but don't mind or don't want to race AI, just focus on the lap times, then this is the game for you. The racing line is very advanced, it actually teaches you how to drive the track with different shades of its respective colour for light throttle and breaks.
