Waltz for Debby - Bill Evans
Waltz for Debby is a 1961 album by the Bill Evans Trio of Evans, bassist Scott LaFaro, and drummer Paul Motian. This was Bill Evans' first trio. The album was the fourth and final effort from the unit—LaFaro died in a car accident just ten days after the live date at the Village Vanguard from which Waltz for Debby and its predecessor, Sunday at the Village Vanguard were taken. The loss of LaFaro hit Evans hard, who went into a brief seclusion. When he returned to the trio format later in 1962, it was with Motian and noted bassist Chuck Israels. The title track, a musical portrait of Evans' niece, became a staple of his live repertoire in later years. It originally appeared as a solo piano piece on Evans' debut album, New Jazz Conceptions. It remains what is likely Evans' most well-known song, one that he would play throughout his career.

10-1-11 @ 0210 hrs Whitehall Fire Department Stations 38, 37 and Truck 36 were dispatched to the 3200 Blk of South 3rd St in the Hockendaqua Section of the Township for the reported house fire. The crew from T3631 and R3641 Went to work on the roof opening up the residence, with additional crew members going to the rear of the home and also interior checking for extension and hot spots. 10-9-11 @ 0735 hrs Stations 40, 39 and Truck 36 were dispatched to the Blue Fox Hotel for the reported Structure Fire with Entrapment, Truck 6 (3631) pulled out with a driver and 3 man crew. Once on location the truck was placed into service to rescue one person from a roof, other personnel went to work setting up ground ladders. A two man crew went up in the bucket and starting to ventilate the building while a third teamed up with another firefighter searched the third floor. Eventually the truck was put in service with master stream operations until the fire was knocked down. While the truck crew operated a crew from 3641 stood by as RIT and a crew from 3611 assisted with setting up a tanker operation. Crews operated on location for about 7 hrs

This bus was part of the early 1998 order or nearly 65 CNG fueled RTS WFDs. from 9730 up to 9795, are CNG'ed while 9701 to 9729 are diesel fueled. Powered by a 275hp Detroit Diesel Series 50G, these buses are slow on take off yet fast on the top end. Transmission is the famed Allison VR-731 ATEC with the 4 gear option instead of the normal 3.
