This is the all Steve Jobs part of the World Wide Developer Conference Keynote on Monday June 6, 2011 and includes his opening remarks, iCloud presentation, and closing thoughts. Although Microsoft got the jump on Apple with their personal cloud for Windows users that was announced at last year's FAM, Apple seems to be poised to provide a cloud service that is better integrated into Apple devices and services. Apple may also have found the killer rationale for the Cloud: it will enable iOS device owners to dispense with their personal computers, at least as far as updating their iOS devices is concerned. iCloud will enable automatic syncing of files, app purchases, music and video purchase on up to 10 devices automatically, without having to connect them to a Mac or PC. Software updates and iOS updates will now stream wirelessly from iCloud. iCloud promises to be another example of thorough and elegant Apple integration.

Although no official details were provided it is widely expected that iCloud will provide users with a cloud copy of their music for streaming to a plethora of devices. Will be available this fall. 1. Notification Center -- Can swipe down form top to enter notifications on your iPhone. This is a much needed feature. Apple claims they have solved the notifications issue by directing all app notifications to the notifications center. 2. Newsstand -- Newsstand will be your quick access to the Magazines and newspaper subscriptions on the iPhone and iPad. 3. Twitter Integration -- The new iOS 5 will include built in Twitter support. This brings integration to camera, apps an more. 4. Safari -- A new better Safari delivers a better browsing experience with tabs on the iPad and iPhone. Included in the new Safari are tabbed browsing, Reading list and Reader. These last two features will allow you to sync your reading list across browsers. 5. WWDC 2011 has brought us news a few days early with the press release that Apple put out on their site. This brings us confirmation of an iOS 5 Demo, Mac OS X Lion, and iCloud. While iOS 5 has been under wraps, we hope to see; New Notifications, Widgets, and iCloud. iCloud is a service that Apple is expected to offer, for free at first, that will allow you to store data in a cloud to access on the go without having to use up memory on your device.
