Al-Muhaddith Ash-Shaykh Abdullah Ibn Muhammad Al-Harariyy, may Allah have mercy upon him and raise his rank greatly, exposes the Wahhabi doctrine that surfaced during the 18th century common era, in the mid-1700s. Book on Saudi Women Describes Wahhabism
A Muslim woman who practiced medicine in Saudi Arabia is traveling the US speaking about her experience under the orthodox rule of the kingdom's state-sponsored religion -- that westerners call Wahhabism. Dr. Qanta Ahmed wrote a book describing a religious lifestyle very different from the Islam she practiced growing up in Britain. In her newly published book, Dr. Ahmed, who is of Pakistani descent, says she found practices that profoundly contradicts the Islam she follows. Dr. Ahmed recently sat down with VOA's Julie Taboh to talk about her new book.

Imam Mohamed Asi previously led the daily and Jum'ah prayers inside the Masjid. His speeches were revolutionary and thought provoking, and eventually irritated and threatened the Middle-East Ambassadors who control the Masjid. Wahhabism Responsible For Terrorism; Mr Jethmelani
Saudi Arabian Ambassador to India Faisal-al-Trad today staged a walkout at an international conference of jurists here after former Union Minister Ram Jethmalani accused the Wahabi sect of being responsible for terrorism. Trad left the conference hall after Jethmalani made some remarks at the inaugural function when he said "unfortunately in the 17th century, they produced an evil man in Saudi Arabia by the name of Wahab, who was concerned about the decline of Muslim world but he hit upon a wrong remedy". The Ambassador returned to the conference after Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily made it clear that Jethmalani's remarks were personal and not not that of the government. The Saudi ruling family belongs to the Wahabi sect. Jethmalani alleged that "Wahabi terrorism" indoctrinated "rubbish" in the minds of young people to carry out terrorist attacks. He lamented that India had friendly relations with a country that supported Wahabi terrorism. Moily, in his address, said that terrorism cannot be attributed to any particular religion.
