Another Nunfancy 2010 SHOT Show adventure! The Sigma is Smith & Wesson's venture into using synthetic materials in gun construction, using high-strength polymer material for the frame. Created in 1994, it also incorporates a self-cocking or double-action only firing mechanism, so that the pistol can be fired without delay or preparation. The basic model is chambered for the .40 S&W cartridge, but it is also available in 9 x 19mm Parabellum and a sub-compact model in .380 ACP was also manufactured. A limited amount of these guns were also chambered for the .357 Sig cartridge. The Sigma series pistols are so similar to the competing Glock pistols that Glock sued Smith & Wesson for patent infringement. The case was settled out of court in 1997, with S&W agreeing to make alterations to the Sigma design and pay an undisclosed amount to Glock. In 1999 S&W improved the Sigma series with the main changes being shortening of the barrel and the slide by .5 inch (12.7 mm). Other improvements included a more ergonomic and comfortable grip and a slightly enlarged ejection port, due to the proprietary accessory rails located at the front (an inexpensive adapter can be attached to turn it into a standard picatinny mount).

LCP VS the Bodyguard is a close competition; both are excellent little .380 options. In my opinion the LCP has the advantage of lighter weight, ergonomic grip and melting of the hard corners. The Bodyguard benefits from an excellent set of sights, and hardy design with a functional slide lock. I like both designs but shoot the BG380 much better, which is due to the sights and trigger break characteristics. The BG380 does have a manual safety which I'm not a fan of but am glad to see that is very low profile and snag free. I like both of these little guns, and feel they are hard to beat as a light weight true EDC option. Yes a .380 is not my preferred caliber for social work but youtube is filled with EDC videos which showcase excellent guns as "EDC" weapons and I have yet to meet any CCW holder that I know carrying a Glock 35, 22, or 23, or even the famed 1911 "daily" and that means every day. This is a S&W 686 Plus, Plus meaning 7shot. It is a L frame revolver chambered in .357 magnum. Introduced in 1980, it was intended to be a improved alternative to the K frame .357's that Smith had made in the past. The K frames, while great guns (I know because I own one) had issues with flame cutting in the forcing cone area of the guns when using magnum loads on a regular basis. As a solution Smith built the L frame guns to solve that problem. The L frames can handle continuous use of magnum loads and should not experience any damage. If you are even remotely thinking of buying a 686, I strongly encourage you to get one. It is such a nice gun! I don't think you will be disappointed :) www.youtube.com

Review of the Dan Wesson 4inch revolver. Can be purchased for £99-£139 depending on were you buy it. I bought mine from an Air rifle shop and thats why it's not two-tone. Its got great build quality, and looks awesome . One BB per shell and 6 shots in the cylinder for ultimate realism. I have purchased extra shells form Land Warrior Airsoft (24), and so I now have enough ammo to hold up at a skirmish. In my opinion this is the best Airsoft revolver you can buy. It has great build quality, great looks, power and accuracy (despite having no hop-up!) FPS is looking at 370 FPS + so maybe a little hot for most sites. The 6 and 8 inch versions shoot even hotter. I wanted an 8inch but at 500FPS+ I don't think I would pass the crono! Overall amazing! If you have any questions, comment or PM us!
