'Timeless' - Leeav Sofer

My little brother, LeeAv, managed to eke out 20 minutes of studio time at the end of someone else's session. He played this song he wrote called 'Timeless' and I videotaped it. Thanks to Andrew Chapin, the studio engineer, for recording and mixing it! myspace.com orenfilm.com LYRICS I would understad, if you would want me too, I could go around you And maybe, i think, if you asked me too, I could try avoid you But I'd prefer, if you didn't mind, if I could be around you And i would hope, if you'd let me to, let me surround you I want to get close, but you're wavin' from a star You feel his skin, and I burn from afar And even though you never leave my mind I know, its fate, and I'll stand aside To never have your lips touch mine To never kiss you... It's alright I see your face, it's so near, though I should turn and face the wall I'll stand back and I'll stand clear, until you give me a signal I know I'm weak, I know I'm small, but it's so hard when afraid to fall We drive so fast, it's all a blur, one wrong turn, I'll hit the curb Time flies through me, that's how it has been The more I try, the more I give in. And even thought you never leave my mind I know it's fate and I'll stand aside To never have your lips touch mine To never kiss you... It's alright I'll try to forget, and I'll try to see How my life is turning out to be without you right here with me So I'll flush out my heart, and I'll put out the flames So I can drive on without these games Cause even though ...

Michael Jackson - Rock With You (Live Bad Tour 1987)

"Rock with You" was released on November 3, 1979, as the second single from Michael Jackson's fifth solo LP and breakthrough album, Off the Wall. Written by Heatwave group member and songwriter Rod Temperton, the song helped Jackson score one of the first Billboard number-one singles in the 1980s, as well as one of the last big hits of the disco era. It reached number one on both the pop and R&B singles chart and became one of Jackson's most-loved songs. A video for the song shows a smiling Jackson dancing in a sequined suit against a background laser. According to Billboard, the song was the fourth biggest single of 1980. It was re-released as a single on February 27, 2006, as part of the Visionary: The Video Singles box set. The song was later covered by singer Brandy in 1995 for Quincy Jones' album, Q's Jook Joint. It was also covered by Ashanti in 2003 as a remix to her single "Rock With Me (Aww Baby)" and performed at the BET Awards. In 2008, Michael's sister, Janet, released "Rock with U" (a house / club number), from her Discipline album. Although similar in name, the songs are completely different in lyrics and music. Michael Jackson - Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough (Off The Wall 1979)

"Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough", released in July 28, 1979, is the debut single from Michael Jackson's Off the Wall album. Written by Jackson, the track was the first solo recording over which he had creative control, and his debut single released under Epic Records. Jackson's first single to top the US charts in seven years, and his first number one on the soul singles chart. The song was certified gold within a few months of release. The musical piece also won Jackson his first solo Grammy and American Music Awards. Garnering critical acclaim for its composition, the track is considered the first song to showcase Jackson's talents, both as a singer and songwriter. In 1978, Jackson starred as the Scarecrow in The Wiz, an urbanized retelling of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. After the filming, the singer approached the film's musical director, Quincy Jones, to ask if he knew of any producers to help with Jackson's future solo endeavors. Jones suggested himself, and the two began work on Off the Wall. After listening to hundreds of demos, the two decided upon the ones to record. These included "Workin' Day and Night", "Get on the Floor" and "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough". Jackson claimed that when the melody of "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" came to him, he couldn't shake it off. He found himself humming and singing it while walking through the Jacksons' Encino home. As Michael could not play, he had his brother Randy perform the melody on a piano in the ...

Michael Jackson - Thriller (Live Dangerous Tour 1992)

Michael Jackson - Thriller (Live Bucharest Dangerous Tour 1992) "Thriller" is a 1984 hit single recorded by Michael Jackson for the Epic label. In the US, it reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and number one on the Radio & Records singles charts, while in the UK, it peaked at number ten. On February 20, 2006, the single, as well as the video, was re-released as part of the Visionary: The Video Singles package. The 14-minute video is regarded by MTV as the greatest music video of all-time, and the song itself is considered to be one of Jackson's signature songs. The single was released slightly earlier in the United Kingdom, in November 1983. The song remains popular as evidenced by sales of over 1159000 digital downloads in the US alone and regularly returns to the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart, since the chart's inception in 2005. Written by Rod Temperton, produced by Quincy Jones, and featuring a guest soliloquy from Vincent Price, "Thriller" is one of Jackson's signature songs, in no small part because of its music video. The original US 7" single does not feature the rap by Vincent Price. The original name for "Thriller" single was "Starlight Love" and demos put it as "Starlight Sun". The song is included on Jackson's Thriller album, which was released on December 1, 1982, and was the seventh and final single pulled from it. A voice-over recording session of "Thriller" appears on the special edition version of the album, released in 2001 ...

It was written by Jackson and produced by Quincy Jones for the singer's sixth solo album, Thriller (1982). Originally disliked by Jones, the track was almost removed from the album after he and Jackson had numerous disagreements. Michael Jackson - Beat It (Live 1996)

"Beat It" is a song by American recording artist Michael Jackson. It was written by Jackson and co-produced by Quincy Jones for the singer's sixth solo album, Thriller (1982). Prior to the song's creation, Jones had wanted an ambitious black rock 'n' roll song featuring Jackson, however, the singer had never previously shown an interest in the genre. During the song's recording, Eddie Van Halen was drafted in to add a distinctive rock guitar solo. The lyrics of "Beat It" are about defeat and courage, and have been said to reference the abuse Jackson faced as a child. Following the successful chart performances of Thriller, "The Girl Is Mine" and "Billie Jean", "Beat It" was released on February 14, 1983, as the album's third single. The song was a worldwide commercial and critical success, becoming one of the best-selling singles of all time. Both "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" occupied Top 5 positions at the same time, a feat matched by very few artists. Cited as one of the most lauded songs in history, "Beat It" was certified platinum in 1989. Honoured numerous times—including two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards and an induction into the Music Video Producers Hall of Fame—"Beat It" and the song's corresponding music video propelled Thriller into becoming the best-selling album of all time. Michael Jackson - Thriller (Thriller 1982)

"Thriller" is a 1984 hit single recorded by Michael Jackson for the Epic label. A voice-over recording session of "Thriller" appears on the special edition version of the album, released in 2001. This session features additional verses of the rap performed by ...
