Women's KICKBOXING Muay Thai MMA**FROM TRAINING 2 FIGHTING!


Here are clips of my many, many hours of training before my fight on 12/8/07. Videoed within 2 weeks of the fight so the sparring and training was lighter than normal, as not to get an injury before the fight. I had a brief sparring session w/ Katie Meehan from the WCL (world combat league), she's pro with 30+ fights under her belt...she gave me a good beating :) In the end of the video I include the fight...do I win? ;) Fight was 3, 2 min. rounds, freestyle rules (means everything goes but knees and elbows). We both weighed in at approx. 115lbs. My record as of this date is 2-0. I won by way of knockout in the 2nd round, the referee finally called it when I landed a high kick to her jaw...it broke her jaw in 2 places. I gotta say, I didn't know I could do that with my high kick...and she is such a nice girl with a lot of heart, I would have rather not "broken" anything but I suppose it's part of the game! She had such a great attitude about it all, I wish her the best! ***NOTE***The music on my video was tagged for "copyright infringement", so youtube would only put it back if I changed the audio with a selection of the music they offer, and only 1 song, so it goes mute after a few minutes. Female Fitness Model Body Training Program - Training Exercises


FEMALE Fitness: howgainmuscle.org .. ntroduction Flavia Del Monte has just released her latest fitness product for females called In Female Fitness Model Body, we discussed three of the most important nutritional considerations in getting that lean sexy body. Now we are going to get into the specifics of how to workout like a fitness model. Here are the three most important elements of a fitness model training program: HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training): We all know that cardio is important in maintaining a lean sexy body year round, which is what a fitness model needs to do. However, not just any cardio is going to produce that slender, yet athletic and shapely look. To do that, you will need a specific type of cardio that will help preserve lean muscle tissue so you maintain those toned thighs, defined abs, and firm butt while keeping body fat down to a minimum. This is where HIIT is far superior to traditional steady state cardio. Steady state cardio burns calories while you're doing it, but HIIT produces an "afterburn" effect where you continue to burn calories at an increased rate for several hours after the workout. To do HIIT, simply choose an exercise (jump roping, sprints, squat jumps, etc) that can elevate your heart rate to near maximum and (after you warm up gradually) perform it at 80%-100% max effort for about 60 seconds. Rest (but keep moving) for 30 seconds. Repeat for a total of 15 minutes. This is a 2:1 work/rest ratio, which is a good place to <b>...</b>

Chaka Khan - I'm Every Woman


Profile: Born 23rd March 1953, Great Lakes Naval Training Station, Illinois, USA, Chaka Khan was raised on Chicago's South Side, and at the age of 11 formed her first group, the Crystalettes. While still in high school, she joined the Afro-Arts Theater, a group which toured with Motown great Mary Wells; a few years later, she adopted the African name Chaka Khan while working on the Black Panthers' breakfast program. After quitting high school in 1969, Khan joined the group Lyfe, soon exiting to join another dance band, the Babysitters; neither was on the fast track to success, but her fortunes changed when she teamed with ex-American Breed member Kevin Murphy and Andre Fisher to form Rufus. Debuting in 1973 with a self-titled effort on the ABC label, Rufus was among the preeminent funk groups of the decade; distinguished by Khan's dynamic vocals, the group earned half a dozen gold or platinum albums before she went solo in 1978. Chaka began her solo career with the hit, "Im Every Woman," a tune written especially for her by the songwriting team of Ashford & Simpson. Since then, Chaka has recorded nine albums and been honored with five Grammy Awards. Her solo hits include "What Cha Gonna Do For Me?" "Clouds," "Papillion," "I Feel For You," and "Through The Fire."
